Senator Grace Poe-Llamazares' Call For Action Could've Been Implemented Better Under A Parliamentary System

It's really a pity that Senator Grace Poe-Llamanzares is opposed to the shift to parliamentary system. She has good intentions but does she realize how a parliamentary system works better than a presidential system? I remembered how she actually raised up against Alan Purisima or when she called for urgent action against Joseph Abaya errr Pabaya. However, these actions take very slow and I wonder has she ever realized that the presidential system is actually VERY SLOW in taking action?

So how would the parliamentary system actually help these call for investigations? You can think of the whole scenario of a parliamentary debate and its set-up. So how would Senator Llamanzares' call for action be done better under a parliamentary set-up?

Just imagine this set-up where there's both the Majority Bloc and the Minority Bloc. There would be the senators from both sides -- the majority bloc and the minority bloc. It doesn't matter which side she would be in -- not only does she have to raise her claims but she also has to prove her claims to both side in a parliamentary debate.

This is where Prime Minister Rodrigo R. Duterte would be in a more direct audience with various senators regardless which side they are in. Just imagine it if we were under a parliamentary system. This would already call for how she may even have to debate with Prime Minister Duterte in several rounds concerning certain issues. Also, once she's proven her issues then the Parliament must take action with her proven claims.

A good example of how this could have worked would be what if last 2015 -- her claims against Minister of Transportation Pabaya would have called for his removal. She would probably present proof not only with her riding the MRT but also various complaints about how defective it has become Minister Pabaya. That would probably get the Shadow Minister of Transportation to also grill Minister Pabaya for his neglect in his position at the Department of Transportation and Communication.

Sadly, she's probably still too obsessed with warning the public concerning Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo's plan to change the current constitution. She has to realize that plans to merely amend economic policies without a proper framework can be disastrous. She may need to have a vacation in Beijing (China is unitary-presidential) and in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia is federal-parliamentary) to see which free trade country actually works better.
