Is "Buntis Faib Legacy" Attempting To Follow The Love Triangle From "Chojin Sentai Jetman"?

I guess I can't help but really criticize what some call Buntis Faib Legacy . I wrote a couple of bad fan fics then again I'm NO PROFESSIONAL WRITER. What excuse does GMA-7 have anyway with how Suzette Doctolero does things? It seems Shinichiro Shirakura is doing a hands-off approach or he's just there to collect the royalty fees. I remembered watching several shows without any idea that either they came from the same network (such as Voltes V and Super Sentai ) or that Gatchaman came from Tatsunoko. Doing research on the timeline of which shows was which helped. So yeah, Chojin Sentai Jetman was in 1991 while Chodenji Machine Voltes V was in 1977. One could say that a lot of Super Sentai characters were "ripped off" from many sources. One could say Toei recycled several of its stuff or modified them for future use. Heck, I even think Toshiki Inoue was watching a lot of older Anime before becoming Jetman's head writer. Doctolero is certainly trying to pull a...

Is Suzette Doctolero Attempting To Do A Toshiki Inoue With "Voltes V Legacy"?

I admit that I had written some bad stories myself which I deleted because they're Old Shames. Of course, it's expected since I'm NOT a professional writer myself. The only way I end up learning is through criticism. However, the burden can be greater on the shoulders of those who are actually professional writers such as Suzette Doctolero. I've developed the guilty pleasure of watching Voltes V Legacy better renamed as Buntis Faib Legacy . We just had a second bed scene between Zardoz and Zandra. There are several love stories put into it. Now, I want to post a question that might arouse Tokusatsu fans reading this blog. Yes, I'm going to be super brutal so read at your own discretion. I think we really do have more than one set of love polygons coming up. First, we do have the potential love triangle between Eva/Jamie/Steve. Now, SEEEEVVVVVVEERRRRAAAAL episodes later we do get more scenes between Mark and Jamie. In the original Chodenshi Voltes V - there were hint...

When Will Anti-Reform Kakampinks See That "Da Best Konstitusyon In Da World" Made It Legal For BOBONG Marcos To Become The 17th President?!

It's really annoying when you talk to ANTI-REFORM Kakampinks. Okay, some Kakampinks (formerly known as DILAWANS) have been fighting for reforms. Economist Andrew J. Masigan and the late Carlos Celdran are among them. I even heard that Rep. Stella Quimbo of the Liberal Party has been a proponent of reform. However, there are still some Kakampinks who are still convinced with what Hilarious Davide had to say. Davide said that the 1987 Constitution needs no amendment as it's Da Best in Da World. Right? Well, if there was really nothing wrong with the system then what allowed former crown prince Bobong Marcos to become the 17th president? The answer is none other than the 1987 Constitution of the Philippines! When anti-reform Kakampinks still insist that the Marcos Empire was under a parliamentary system so they defend the  Talk to them about the need for a parliamentary system and they're bound to keep saying, "But the Marcos Years were a parliamentary! Mauulit lang noo...

A Possible Ultra-Electromagnetic Disappointment With "Voltes V Legacy"

Years ago, I wrote about why Toei Ltd. should NEVER let GMA-7 adapt Voltes V . It was because of that abomination known as Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawakan that was also a major licensed abomination. It's already known that I dislike Power Rangers or most licensed Americanization of Japanese TV series such as how Lion Voltron was based on Hundred Beast King Golion . I'd like to give my thoughts on how I wanted to give it a chance but it's not even worth sending to Power Morphicon to be viewed, if ever. Sure, I dislike Power Rangers but I'd say it still deserves some global recognition. This one? Well, I guess it's time to talk about how the series went on. With the WEEKNIGHT schedule - I guess it's going to really suffer the same way Zaido did. I did drop Zaido like a hot potato. I don't think even Ysabel Ortega (and maybe she'll show up in a bikini soon) can convince me to sit through it! Sure, there was a plan to expand what Voltes V could not in the rather...

How Can Filipino Communists Talk About "Human Rights" When They Support OBVIOUS HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATORS THEMSELVES?

I was reading through Get Real Philippines and found out that clueless Benign0 says that red tagging isn't a crime . I think red-tagging can be CRIMINAL   if there's no real evidence to prove that so and so is linked with the CPP-NPA. It just happened that Jay Sonza did wrongly red-tag a girl (who looks like K-Drama actress Shin Hye Sun) who he thought was Representative Sarah Jane I. Elgago. The CPP-NPA legal fronts keep talking about HUMAN RIGHTS but they've been supporting HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATORS THEMSELVES. The rallies do hold several Communist figures. You may even notice the photo of Chairman Mao Zedong. Mao was a GENOCIDAL MANIAC whose movements such as the Great Leap Forward and the Cultural Revolution murdered more people than Adolf Hitler's Holocaust. Joseph Stalin was also a big-time tyrant in Russia. How can they talk about human rights when doing a SIMPLE Google search on the names of Mao and Stalin would reveal that they're MASS MURDERERS.  Today, the...

Just For Fun: Imagining A Possible Stunt ABiaS-CBN Might Do To Counter "Voltes V Legacy"

Months ago, Coconuts Martin launched another "masterpiece" based on FPJ's Batang Quiapo . That was some time after Ang Probinsyano which totally was a big joke. Seeing one Korean crime drama after the other makes me LMAO over why Ang Probinsyano even exists . Now, there's Voltes V Legacy which I heard would be 80 episodes. WUT? Okay, I'm not exactly pleased since GMA-7 did give us that licensed garbage called Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawan . I decided to watch a few Voltes V Legacy episodes which seek to expand the storyline. It may have Toei Ltd.'s involvement but I think much time is wasted on padding. I wish they would've simply aimed for 50 episodes and expanded the lore from there. No, I think the 80 episodes Monday to Friday format might give me a good reason to skip it. I could imagine what ABiaS-CBN might do to counter Voltes V Legacy . There was this alleged sabotage they did with GMA-7 a few years ago. I even heard of how SKY Internet (by ABiaS-CBN) ...

When Will Anti-Parliamentary Kakampinks See That A Parliamentary System Would've Benefited Them Too?

Get Real Philippines' clueless webmaster Benign0 wrote an article on the first anniversary of the Second Marcos Admin . There are times I just can't take Benign0 seriously because he believes that Filipino culture is static and can never change. Benign0's solution will take SEVERAL GENERATIONS before it'd work . The guy has been feeding trolls like Darth Moron the Wuss and Jason VOORHEES . You have anti-parliamentary Kakampinks who are saying, "It's the people, not the system!"  I read through Benign0's short and I'm sharing this part of the post: Again, we only need to face simple facts about why the old “Opposition” find themselves in the dumpster today. They failed to unify, failed to put up a competent leader, failed to come up with a campaign pitch based on an accurate reading of public sentiment, and refused, as the campaign progressed, to learn from insights described by data published by reputable polling firms. They were utterly buried in ...
