Let's get this straight. I have nothing against localization but it's how it's been localized that's the question. I have enjoyed several shows which are localized versions of Japanese shows . One good example is how City Hunter translated well from a Japanese Manga to a Japanese Anime to a Korean live show . On the other hand, there's something about the teleserye versions of imported shows that makes them feel bootleg in terms of quality .  So what does bootleg quality mean? The term bootleg is usually made in reference to anything that was an illegal reproduction. But let's think about it what it means to call it bootleg quality. Ever saw any bootleg toys? They never match up to the quality of the official toys. Although these teleseryes have a license to them but they feel like they never had it. Agnes Callamard  has not only had violated protocol for what she calls an "important visit" in the Philippines. She also showed how one-sided she is in the issue by refusing President Rodrigo R. Duterte's invitation and choosing to side with the likes of Cheato Gascon. She has shown her stupidity by saying that there's no "direct evidence" that shabu can lead to violence or cause brain damage. I can't forget how much that Etta Rosales gets on my nerves and to an extension, Leila Dilemma who used to occupy the post of CHR Chairperson during Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo's reign.
