Making It Fun in the Philippines

If you think teleseryes will make it to the first world foreign market think again. You have to be awfully delusional if you think that teleseryes will be world class. Here are eight reasons why teleseryes will NEVER make it to developed countries. Plus, every decent Pinoy who hate these teleseryes may pass this around to piss off teleserye viewers. 1.) Terrible one-dimensional characters whether it'd be the heroes or the villains  Characters in teleseryes are very one-dimensional characters. There's the problem of too many stereotypes that keep getting played over and over again. Examples of these leading character stereotypes are the poor hero in love with a rich girl (and yet he's not even worth fighting for because he's a bum) and the rich daughter who must follow her heart even if the poor guy she's in love with is not worth marrying because he's a lazy bum. Here's my eight reasons of how teleseryes are making their viewers really stupid. Teaching the "Pwede Na Yan" mindset with their overly mediocre shows The way teleseryes go is pretty much built on the Pwede Na Yan mindset . Bad special effects, bad acting, bad writing, poor pacing... basta may palabas tayo pwede na yan or in English "As long as we have something to show that will do." The fact that they do their shows at a daily basis in contrast to a weekly basis is something to think about. This means there's less time to check on quality and they could care less how bad the show is as long as WTF let's show it to the people everyone. Worse, there's a lot of overextension. It's a very insulting thing to say, "Ang laki laki mo na nanood ka pa ng Super Sentai!" or "Wow, you're already an adult and you're still watching Super Sentai." That's coming from the feeling mature crowd  who waste their time destroying themselves. The electoral protest of Bongbong Marcos is still going on. Right now, I even have my doubts whether or not Leni is truly the Vice President of the Philippines. If she won fair and square why is the Liberal Party or should I call them the Hepatitis A Party desperate with every move that could lead to a recount? Do you remember the film Johnny English? I remembered the tagline that said, "He knows no fear, he knows no danger, he knows nothing." The protagonist acted by Rowan Atkinson is really that stupid to the point he fears absolutely nothing as a result of it. The same may be applicable to Senator Antonio Trillanes IV with his antics. This guy really looks like he knows no fear and no danger because HE KNOWS NOTHING. He's all "talk ng talk" in the Senate. I'm a Duterte supporter but I'm not okay with everything he does. I agree that he really needs to control his mouth and temper. There are also Aquino supporters who acknowledge that Noynoy has his flaws. There's a fine line between supporting a candidate and becoming a fantard of the candidate. One is willing to criticize their candidate for his or her shortcomings while the other is okay with everything he or she does. Richard Gordon saying that President Rodrigo R. Duterte should control his mouth is good advice to the head of state. It's a problem that some Duterte Supporters have stooped down to the level of Aquinotards  who may also be alternatively called Noytards. The problem is that some of these Duterte supporters can end up with the "Duterte can do no wrong." which is no different than "Noynoy can do no wrong." or glorifying any kind of candidate as if they can do no wrong. It's a problem that some Filipinos have that they keep living in nostalgia. While nothing is wrong with nostalgia in this digital age or that some old fashioned values are still needed (such as respect for nature and family) but the problem of clinging to the past without considering the future is not healthy. 1.) Bringing up Imperial Japan when the empire has long been dead World War 2 is over and so is Imperial Japan . Why do some people just love to keep bringing up Japan during World War 2?
