GAGONG Pilipinas Under PANGGULONG BOBONG Marcos, Thanks To The 1987 Constipation

Last time, I wrote an article in which I mentioned President Bobong Marcos denying the stolen wealth of the now-defunct Marcos Empire. Thankfully, Bobong never took over when the Marcos Empire was still in power. The EDSA Revolution of 1986 was necessary. Unfortunately, the problem was that lawmakers made a HURRIEDLY WRITTEN constitution that was done out of knee-jerk. The constitutionalists didn't think that the constitution had to be MORE FLEXIBLE and one that doesn't restrict the country too much. Instead, the 1987 Constitution of the Philippines became a CONSTIPATION due to several rules like the presidential system's focus on popularity-driven elections, the Failipino First Policy, and yet, some people like Hilarious Davide call it DA BEST KONSTITUTION IN DA WORLD.

Many times, the hype was always #NeverAgain to Marcos. Who can remember in 2016 when Leni Loud Robredo got stuck in an election duel with Bobong? However, 2022 came in and the results were that Leni Loud lost to Bobong. Who can remember the time when Leni Loud became Ina Montecillo? Perhaps that's why she lost to Bobong in the first place. Later, Bobong and Leni Loud actually shook hands at some point. 

I feel any reconciliation right now is either superficial OR good vibes only. After all, Bobong was the subject of ire because he was the former Crown Prince of the Marcos Empire. Thankfully, Emperor Ferdinand Marcos Sr. was overthrown, or Bobong may have become king. Has anybody forgotten when Leni Loud said she ran for vice president to avoid a Marcos from returning? Reconciliations do happen, right? The Kakampinks may not even realize it but the 1987 Constipation made it possible for Bobong to become the Panggulo ng Pilipinas.

Think about the issue of Bobong especially with the flood control scandals UNDER HIS WATCH. Honestly, it can be hard to determine whether or not former House Speaker (and Bobong's first cousin) Martin Romualdez is actually arrested on fair terms or it's just a publicity stunt. Martin was last seen at the hospital. I can only SPECULATE (and no proof, actually) that Noynoy Aquino's ghost and perhaps Joma Sison's ghost haunted the same hospital room where Martin was last seen. I can give the benefit of the doubt that Bobong may have decided to go hands off as blood relatives may hate each other.

However, the real problem again is the very law of the land. The real problem as I always said it, for the UMPTEENTH TIME, has more ot do with the SYSTEMS THAN DA PEOPLE. I  may not like Leni Loud, but she's actually smarter than Bobong Marcos. The presidential system ends to downplay intelligence for popular but STUPID leaders. When did weekly questioning even happen?! That would also help answer WHY the flood control scandals ballooned to where they are now. Politicians don't have shame NOT because of DNA (as Jason VOORHEES says it outright) but because of the VERY SYSTEM that shaped their behavior.

The issue is Filipinos kept saying, "Hindi pa ngayon ang tamang oras!" Well, Filipinos have been FIGHTING AGAINST REFORMS that could've benefited them. Now, the real issue is that instead of a BAGONG PILIPINAS for the BETTER, we may be heading for a GAGONG PILIPINAS for the worse instead.
