A few days ago, it was the fourth death anniversary of Noynoy Aquino. One thing is sure -- the Yellowtards all revere Noynoy like he was Chairman Mao Zedong. The stupidity often posted is, "Bakit kailangan ng cha-cha kung may Noynoy?" Please, Noynoy has already died! It's something that Kikoman Pangilinan won the senatorial elections while Bum Aquino finally WON. However, these two really need to STOP opposing badly needed reforms. A parliamentary system would've already allowed the Liberal Party to form its own Shadow Government -- one to scrutinize the CURRENT Government!
There's still some sentimentalism over Noynoy's legacy. Some keep talking as if he were the greatest president in the Universe. Remembering Noynoy's death had me mixed. Noynoy had an economic legacy, but one can't forever rely on past success. On the other hand, Noynoy was also pretty much Boy Sisi. Noynoy's death drove the Yellowtards to tears. Watching Mao's funeral reminded me of the Yellowtards. It was probably impossible to embalm Noynoy's body. It was the Legacy Virus pandemic. However, Noynoy died of kidney failur,e NOT the Legacy Virus. I may not be a supporter of Noynoy BUT I still wish the Yellowtards entombed him at EDSA.
It might not be long before Kikoman and Bum will pass a bill for Noynoy Aquino Day. Noynoy's archenemy Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, signed Ninoy Aquino Day as a holiday. I couldn't imagine how the bill would be filed. If it happens then it will prove even more that presidentialism is FULL OF PERSONALITY-BASED POLITICS. It was PERSONALITY-BASED POLITICS that caused Noynoy et al and Duterte et al to win.
Hopefully, Kikoman and Bum will start to see they're still stuck in a gamble. They win and they lose -- it's really a gamble. If that's the case, then why not hold elections in the casino instead?
