Back when the late Noynoy Aquino was alive -- I always fancied the idea that he would get buried at the Libingan Ng Mga Bayani (right near Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr.) or he'd get his body preserved like Chairman Mao Zedong. The sad fact was that neither happened and he was cremated instead. It was a pandemic so it was the most practical thing to do. They didn't even bother to create a Noynoy Aquino Memorial Center at EDSA - something similar to the Mao Zedong Memorial Center at Tiananmen Square.
As the call for constitutional reform happens - it's really getting more obvious. Yellowtards have been holding Noynoy at almost the SAME LEVEL as Mao. China still honors Mao. They can be told about real great leaders like Mahathir Mohamad and the late Lee Kuan Yew. When they're told about it then they can begin to whine. They would talk as if Noynoy was the greatest president in the Universe. So much for criticizing Dutertards who talk as if Rodrigo R. Duterte was never wrong. Does it mean that one automatically supports the other? There are other options in contrast to what Noytards and Dutertards have to say.
I guess the Noytards did overlook something. They could've intervened when Noynoy died. They could've asked his body to be preserved. They could've secured materials to create the Noynoy Aquino Memorial Center in EDSA. They could've had his body preserved as a history lesson. Instead, Noynoy was cremated and his remains were moved near his parents. Deny it all they want but they could've followed the Maotards. The Maotards refused Mao's request to be cremated. Instead, they all decided to preserve Mao's body and display it for future generations. Why wasn't the same done to Noynoy?
If they did, maybe they would've pointed people over to Noynoy's legacy. The museum could've showcased the accomplishments of their beloved leader. The center could've had the preserved remains of Noynoy. It could've been a tourist spot for all we know. Instead, their lack of foresight came in. TBH, they heavily disappointed me when they failed to think about preserving Noynoy's body and entombing it at EDSA. Oh well, I guess it's been their loss!
