Coming Soon To Kapamilya Channel's Primetime Teleserye: "Laban Leni"

The Yellowtards ahem Pinklawans ahem Robredogs can't stop huh? I could remember how the 2016 elections gave us the "hit comic book" called Sa Gitna Ng Unos which tried to portray Mar Roxas as the Superhero of Yolanda. Well, after Super Mar - we had Wonder Leni. A comic book known as Servant Leader was released though it's nothing compared to another recent comic book. The recent comic book by Doc Ernest might be the latest tool called Laban Leni to which Vice President Leni Loud Robredo herself is called Superwoman Leni Loud Robredo. Calling her a "quiet worker" is definitely defying the science of acoustics. The joke's on Leni Loud as I prefer to call her Leni Loud than Leni alone because she's almost as loud as Leni Loud from The Loud House. 

Leni Loud's current campaign really reminds me of the film Ang Tanging Ina N'yong Lahat - a film that ironically showed the perils of the presidential system. Right now, the Liberal Party is really trying to present Leni Loud herself as the "Ang Tanging Ina Ng Bayan". Just watching the film already made me cringe even before its main character, Ina Montecillo, sat as president. Ina isn't a woman known to make smart decisions either - from four late husbands (she had children from the first three), she makes disastrous financial decisions, and she frequently irritates her children to no end over that. Ina became president and really wrecked the country. I even wonder if Ang Tanging Ina N'yong Lahat might be a preview of 2022 done so last decade. 

This reminds me that Ai Ai Delas Alas also had a comedy film before called Volta way back in 2004. That would be four years before she would be in Ang Tanging Ina N'yong Lahat. Fortunately, I wasn't able to watch Volta. The idea of Leni Loud as a superheroine and the tanging ina are matching up one way or another. I find it quite a bizarre coincidence that Ai Ai herself should be cast as both a superheroine and the tanging ina. Is this really some kind of bad joke? Maybe, but I'm certainly laughing at the idea of mixing Ai Ai's two separate roles as Volta and Ina into one person - Leni Loud herself.

This is getting more laughable. The change from yellow to pink is cosmetic. Now, the reliance on comics and theatrics is really something to think about. The presidential system actually encourages STUPIDITY in all its candidates. I guess the Liberal Party is getting too comfortable in their comfort zone of trading in knowledge for stupidity. It's truly a waste really considering that Leni Loud is a graduate of the UP School of Economics, Mar himself is a Wharton Graduate, and Bum Aquino is a graduate of Ateneo De Manila University to name a few. The presidential system encourages theatrics over solutions. Even funnier is that 2019 had #OtsoDiretso try to do more theatrics such as asking President Rodrigo R. Duterte to ride his jetski to China. They seem to promise solutions but it all ends up in theatrics and more theatrics. 

I guess they wouldn't like the parliamentary system because they would be scrutinized if they were the Government or they would have to provide alternatives if they were the Opposition. This would be something to think about. If the Liberal Party wants to be a real constructive opposition - they need to support the parliamentary form of government. However, it seems that their failure of the mind of the Liberal Party as hit a whole new level for the nth time, right?
