Making It Fun in the Philippines

Today is the 94th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union or the Vietnam Youth Union. Above is a picture comparing a Vietnam Youth Union member and a Kabataan Pantylist member (although Sarah Jane I. Elgago is now in Gagabriela ). Both of them wear blue shirts. Both are youth organizations under left-leaning philosophy.  Interestingly, Kabataan Partylist was established on the 70th anniversary of the Vietnam Youth Union. Sure, it was founded on June 19, 2001. Did Joma find it interesting that Ho had youth recruits? Apparently, Joma was way too enamored with the Vietnam War . The Vietnam Youth Union (Doan Thanh Nien) is preparing its 94th anniversary this March 26, 2025. Interestingly, Kabataan Pantylist launched its KAYA project which means Kabataan In Your Area. Is this a coincidence or a deliberate action? Hmmm... because it doesn't look coincidental when you consider some facts.  The Vietnam Youth Union was founded on March 26, 1931. Kabataan Pantylist was founded on June 19, 2001. That would mean 70 years after the Vietnam Youth Union was founded. Previously, Ho Chi Minh founded it under the name of the Indochina Communist Youth Union. It's also known as the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union since December 1976. Did the late Joma Sison decide to create Kabataan Pantylist because he was still too inspired by the Vietnam War ? The second factor was the rising tide of radicalisation around the world. Sison founded the CPP at the end of the year which had seen the Tet offensive in Vietnam, the student revolt in France which triggered a mass strike ...

Isn't it strange that it's Youth Month in Vietnam and Cong Caphe opened in March instead of the intended February? I looked into the news and there weren't any members of the Vietnam Youth Union mentioned.   Atty. Leni Loud Robredo claimed that she works for 18 hours a day . I believe that Angat Buhay operates for 18 hours a day. But Leni Loud? Cong Caphe Philippines had a delay in its opening. I assumed that Cong Caphe Philippines would open on March 26, 1995 -- on the anniversary of the Vietnam Youth Union (Doan Thanh Nien). It seems Cong Caphe (which is most likely a state-owned cafe) may have received clearance from NTF-ELCAC. Some Doan Thanh Nien members may be in civilian mode in Quezon City.
