Is Kabataan Pantylist A Direct Rip-Off, Of The Vietnam Youth Union?

Today is the 94th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union or the Vietnam Youth Union. Above is a picture comparing a Vietnam Youth Union member and a Kabataan Pantylist member (although Sarah Jane I. Elgago is now in Gagabriela). Both of them wear blue shirts. Both are youth organizations under left-leaning philosophy.

Interestingly, Kabataan Partylist was established on the 70th anniversary of the Vietnam Youth Union. Sure, it was founded on June 19, 2001. Did Joma find it interesting that Ho had youth recruits? Apparently, Joma was way too enamored with the Vietnam War. I wouldn't be surprised if Mao Zedong had remarked on Joma's similarity to Ho. The difference was Ho grew up as a working man. Joma grew up privileged. Joma and Ho are both poets and revolutionaries in their own right.

One could take a look at the similar hand gestures done by Kabataan Pantylist and the Vietnam Youth Union. Both wear the same color shirts and are the youth representatives for their respective countries. Amazing, isn't it? Not only is Joma a doppelganger of Ho. Joma also copied the Vietnam Youth Union and Gagabriela. Did Joma religiously read Ho's journals to the point that he decided to copy both movements?

One look at this photo might think that Rep. Raoulol Manuel got married. Nope, it's actually Pham Huy Hoang of Doan Thanh Nien. It's strange how Vietnam actually has several commie doppelgangers. It should be funny that Lac Hong University even has some doppelgangers of Filipino commies

The Vietnam Youth Union is something Kabataan Pantylist can only hope to become. The Vietnam Youth Union has already accepted Doi Moi. Meanwhile, Kabataan Pantylist is still stuck with Joma Sison Iskul Buko of Thought. The Ho Chi Minh School of Thought evolved over time when Do Muoi became the General-Secretary of the CPV-VPA -- a position equivalent to the Chairman of the CPP-NPA. Strangely, Ho sat as chairman before the position was abolished.

Think about it. Kabataan Pantylist doesn't wear the same clothes as the Chinese Communist Youth League (CCYL). Instead, they wear more or less the same clothes as the Vietnam Youth Union. What caused Joma to copy the uniforms of the Vietnam Youth Union instead of the CCYL? Hmmm...
