ABiaS-CBN's "Ang Probinsyano" Can Keep Bragging About Its Views But Can It Hold A Candle In The INTERNATIONAL MARKET?

I really wonder if the still-ongoing misadventures of Cardo Dalisay in Ang Probinsyano are really intentional because of some politicization. Here's something from ABiaS-CBN News (and yes, the network is NOT SHUT DOWN in contrast to what REALLY happened during the Marcos Years) wich brags about the ratings of that "best primetime TV show ever that nothing can match it". Right now, I'm still LAUGHING and maybe, I'm grateful that Ang Probinsyano hasn't ended yet. It's because I've got something to bash (for fun). Though, the late Fernando Poe Jr. may turn in his grave with this idiocy going on since the original classic blockbuster is desecrated by this idiocy.  I remembered the stupid article that popped out that said that Vincenzo doesn't (daw) hold a candle in contrast to Ang Probinsyano . I really laughed my head off because it was probably a response of Filipino viewers who thought of Vincenzo as a classic show in its own right. Though, it also...

#AyudaHindiChaCha Will Surely Bury The Philippines In More Unpaid Debts And Inflation

I remembered a couple of economics-related articles I wrote. Sure, it's very easy to look down at me and call me names because I'm no economist and maybe, some will doubt the fact that I have a basic college degree or a job. The recent trend is that you've got those pasaways asking for their PHP 10,000.00 ayuda together with free stuff . Ironic, really, that they keep asking for free stuff then they complain that the government has to BORROW MONEY for COVID-19-related expenses . What do they want the government to do with that debt? Put it in their wallets for free? If they do get PHP 10,000 ayuda per month then what do they do with it? Buy their necessities OR will they just go gambling and drinking? I wonder how do those pasaways even propose to PAY BACK the COVID-19 debts if they just keep ASKING AND ASKING FOR STUFF . Did those stuff come in for free? What's what they need to answer for themselves. Ayuda or government aid is a GOVERNMENT EXPENSE or an outflow. Some ...

The Irony Kayabangan Partylist Isn't Siding With COMMUNIST China In Their June 12 Gathering

It's June right and June 12 is the supposed Independence Day of the Philippines. Though, June 12 celebrates the Philippines' liberation from Spain than its actual independence which was on July 4. Here's a funny caption from Kayabangan Partylist where they call for a milk tea gathering with youth leaders and from where? Communist China? No, from HONG KONG, TAIWAN, THAILAND, MALAYSIA, AND MYANMAR - areas of the world that GREATLY BENEFIT from economic liberalization. Funny that they should gather with youth leaders from those democratic countries than from COMMUNIST CHINA.  This one makes me laugh to think of how the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) is contradicting themselves. I just love to think these guys LOVE COMMUNISM but they really hate Communist China . For a start, Joma Sison could've flown off to China and ask for asylum from Deng Xiaoping. The Chinese Communist Party could've been the most powerful ally of the CPP . For example, Sarah Elgago cou...

Those Filipino Commies And Pasaways Should Really Try Protesting At Tiananmen Square

It's really easy to overlook that today on June 4 commemorates the martyrdom of the students at the Tiananmen Square Massacre incident. Some say that the martyrdom of the students was no martyrdom but a group of lazy moochers who were asking for ayuda. Until now, I can't be certain since I'm no historian or journalist - I'm just a nobody blogger sharing his thoughts on the Internet. I remembered a couple of times when I wrote about protesting at Tiananmen Square. First, I remembered the time I actually wrote that UP-Diliman students who are protesting after walking out should protest at Tiananmen Square . Second, I can't forget my dare to Filipino leftists to do their vandalism in Tiananmen Square . The Tiananmen Square happened during the reign of Deng Xiaoping when Communist China accepted capitalist principles or "Communism with Chinese Characteristics".  With today in mind - I think those anti-China Filipino communists are all bark and no bite. How o...

Filipino Communism Is Dying From Obsolete, Aging Economic Ideals

Rigoberto Tiglao's latest expose is called " The Communist Party is dying of old age ". I can't help but laugh at the truth that many of the commies are actually that old. The founder of the New People's Army (NPA) namely Jose Maria Sison is 82 and his wife Julie De Lima is also more or less the same age. However, I don't want to focus on the aging part. Toady Casino is hardly a senior citizen since he's only 52. However, Neri Colmenares is 61 years old. Satur Ocampo is 82 years old. Though, I would like to address that it's not just the aging problem but also the problem of economic illiteracy. Lately, it seems that Filipino communists are actually buying into the lies they propagated for years. They were propagating ideals against capitalism for 52 years. Now, their cause is falling apart because people are seeing that the very economic ideals they promote are GOOD AS OBSOLETE. The 1970s to 1980s should've been a good start to see why Filipino ...

Real Talk: It's The Presidential System That Results In Dog-Eat-Dog Politics In The Philippines

2022 is just around the corner. There's so much talk from the IGNORAMUSES. I just thought of one article from Get Real Philippines sayst that a lack of a strong national identity is what led to a dog-eat-dog type of politics. However, I beg to differ from GRP and want to say it out loud - it's NOT that lack of strong national identity BUT the presidential system that gave way to dog-eat-dog politics. Dog-eat-dog is defined as a situation are willing to harm each other in order to succeed. Isn't that what happened last 2019 when #OtsoDiretso decided to literally bring out a jetski, dare President Rodrigo R. Duterte to ride it, just to get a vote ? It's because they were trying to derail the president's popularity. They could've decided to focus on solutions. Instead, they decided to dare Duterte to ride his jetski while Noynoy Aquino hasn't fulfilled his hyperbole to be run over by a literal train. Isn't it obvious both Duterte and Noynoy were speaking HY...

1Sambayan Can Only Really Have A REAL Voice Under A PARLIAMENTARY System

I remembered some time ago that I wrote it's a bummer to want a healthy opposition BUT to reject the parliamentary system . Now, a new "opposition" body is created called 1Sambayan which has the members such as Grace Poe-Llamanzares, Nancy Bitay, Leni Loud Robredo, Isko Moreno, and Antonio Trillanes IV. This is in hopes of checks and balances. However, for 1Sambatayan to succeed as a GENUINE OPPOSITION against the Duterte Government - it should support the PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM. The problem with the presidential system is that it doesn't have a real formal opposition.  Weren't the Marcos Years a parliamentary system?  If the Marcos Years were truly parliamentary then they would have that Government vs. Opposition layout. That means, if the despot, the late Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr. was truly a prime minister then there had to be an Opposition Leader. For example, a real parliamentary set-up would've probably made Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr. the Opposit...
