Making It Fun in the Philippines

I remembered having talks with people about the idea of opening up the economy. Others have their usual alibis not to open the country to foreign direct investment (FDI). Others mention that the Philippines isn't ready for FDI. Their reason? It's because of the typical Filipino spendthrift environment. It's really something that Angel Locsin Colmenares shows what she is - a beauty without brains . Angel's quote above can be translated into English as follows, "Forgive us if we are seldom hardheaded. However, we would like to reach out by saying that you, health workers, are our comrades. Senator Cynthia Villar's tactlessness is uncalled for. Has she considered both sides of the coins that there are frontliners are doing THEIR BEST while pasaways are increasing. I was thinking about the RIGHTFUL concern that the debt accumulated during the COVID-19 crisis is getting higher. The big question is where will the Philippines get that MONEY to pay off whatever debts were accumulated? There's also the big stupidity of wanting the foreign debts repaid yet they don't want to open up sectors to Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) . What's their fear of FDIs about?
