Kilusang Mayo Uno Has Done NOTHING To Give Better Services, Generate Jobs, And Improve The Philippine Economy
May 1 is often associated with Labor Day. For Catholics worldwide, it's the feast day of St. Joseph the carpenter. For Filipino communists, it's associated with Kilusang Mayo Uno. It really makes me laugh that Kilusang Mayo Uno keeps shouting "NO TO RED TAGGING!" while they uphold the pictures of their heroes like Vladimir Lenin (not Leni Loud Robredo), Mao Zedong, Frederick Engels, Joseph Stalin, and Karl Marx. Kilusang Mayo Uno has been red-tagging themselves by upholding the photos of Communism's "greatest heroes" all the while they really hate China. These people could've welcomed Xi Jinping when he visited the Philippines during the late Noynoy Aquino's term and during this administration.
These legal fronts of the CPP-NPA are organizations like Bayad Muna, Anak ng Bayad, Gagabriela, IBON Foundation, Anakpatis, Alliance of Complaining Teachers, Lazy Filipino Students, and Kayabangan Partylist. Some of its worst members are the like of Neri Colmenares, Toady Casino, Arlene Boborosas, Sonny Africa, Antonio Tinio, James Carwyn Candila, Raoul Manuel, and Sarah Jane Elgago. Deny all they want but their activities speak louder than words. They have this pseudo-nationalistic show going on which is LAUGHABLE at so many levels. They claim to be nationalistic but they keep begging for help from the International Clown Court in the Netherlands (where Joma Sison is hiding). There are even photos of CPP-NPA members who are using Mac PROs by Apple when they could buy Xiaomi and Huawei gadgets from China. They have been saying they're there to help the nation but what help have they done?
Outgoing President Rodrigo R. Duterte signed the Public Service Act of 2022 and what did we get? A lot of idiotic scare comments again such as how Candila of Lazy Filipino Students condemned the move as imperialism. Elgago of Kayabangan Partylist did otherwise. Casino of Bayad Muna has repeatedly lied to people about how foreign investors are exploitative. Africa of IBON Foundation continues to repeat the same lie. I think these clowns know they're lying one way or another. It's because they know that if more people get work - the lesser recruits they'll have. After all, Mao Zedong allegedly said that poverty is a good thing. How did Mao enrich himself? Mao practically made China too poor and too hungry to fight him. Unfortunately, Mao's self-overindulgence made him an idiot who called for the shooting of the sparrows - a move that upset the ecological balance. I bet they did the same thing when Noynoy signed certain economic reforms late in his term. Noynoy may have not made a move to completely remove 60-40 but he did liberate certain sectors.
It's been many years of them protesting and protesting. However, what help did they do? Can their noise even produce electricity to lower its costs? I doubt it and all their noise does is disturb the public. Just hearing Elgago scream is absolutely obnoxious and funny at the same time. They're protesting against reforms that could help give better services, generate jobs, and improve the economy. Instead, all they're doing is demand stuff like ayuda instead of reforms. Ayuda is nothing more than giving a man fish for a day and not fish for a lifetime. Ironically, they're complaining about the increasing COVID-19 debts but they keep BEGGING FOR FREE STUFF. Do they expect the government to magically produce money? Print more money than usual and the Philippine peso gets devalued. Even more ironic is that they hate the Marcos Years BUT they sure love protectionism. The Marcos oligarchy was powered by... you guessed it..; PROTECTIONISM. Besides, Marcos' rule was nearly similar to North Korea's with JUST ONE CHANNEL. ABiaS-CBN was completely shut down then others followed. It's very different from the loss of the franchise of ABiaS-CBN.
They're protesting and here's what - I don't see any improvement as a result of their activities. Have the public services of the Philippines improved after several years of protectionism done by the Marcos Years and after the Marcos Years? Did protectionism make the Philippines rise beyond the rising tiger? Did the Philippine economy improve with their protests? The answer is really no. These guys are just a waste of space, time, and energy. They're walking contradictions that should be exposed for what they are - SELFISH, POWER HUNGRY PEOPLE who take advantage of people stupid enough to believe in their BLATANT LIES disproved by first-world economists.
