#MarcosPaRin For President For 2022? #LetLeniLead For President This 2022? What About Constitutional Reform?!

 

It's official that Bongbong Marcos lost the electoral protest three times in a row. It's official that the Supreme Court (the same court that exonerated Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo of plunder). Now, the ever clueless Benign0's latest BAND-AID solution is a Bobong presidency. Benign0 is apparently a Marcos apologist who hypocritically lives in AUSTRALIA yet still believes in self-industrialization showing just how clueless he's about economics. The cluelessness of Benign0 really sums up with his latest post. I'm amazed that he would rather endorse a Bongbong presidency than implement constitutional reform. I smell this is just vindictiveness against Vice President Leni Loud Robredo. Also, I felt Bongbong should'v run for senator last 2019 if he wanted an advantage than to assume he already won the race. The mentality of Benign0 is #MarcosPaRin.

Meanwhile, there are the Yellowtards who are still calling to #LetLeniLead. I don't mind if Leni Loud herself will run. However, that motorcade was uncalled for. However, I can't a Leni Loud presidency because of her statements like saying pasaways aren't to blame. One has to wonder if Leni Loud herself is hoping that cases will increase to make Angat Buhay more relevant. I can't say that but the way Leni Loud is conducting herself - she's NOT following simple guidelines. I guess the Yellowtards are scared of the parliamentary system because their beloved Leni Loud could've voted out by a vote of no confidence. 

What the Philippines really needs is to SHIFT to the Federal-Parliamentary System with a more open economy. Under a parliamentary system, it doesn't matter if it's Bongbong who wins or Leni Loud who wins. It's because the parliamentary system votes based on PARTIES rather than PERSONALITIES - it's operation teamwork. The parliamentary system would assign legitimate positions for both the MAJORITY and MINORITY seats as the Government and the Opposition. The Government has the role to run the country. The Opposition has the role to give alternatives to the government. In the parliamentary system, you may have Prime Minister Bongbong Marcos and Opposition Leader Leni Loud Robredo. The existence of the weekly question hour where both Government and Opposition will have both of them try to prove who's better in the spirit of friendly competition.

The Marcos vs. Robredo dichotomy proves one thing - the presidential system is based on PERSONALITY POLITICS. Besides, who can remember how Imelda Romualdez-Marcos, the widow of a tyrant, run for president? What's the use of criticizing the late Corazon Cojuangco-Aquino (who was more fit as a ceremonial Head of State) for being an inexperienced widow when Imelda was one, too? It's really nothing more than a beauty pageant in the long run. It just reminds me of how some of the Marcos vs. Aquino loyalists even go as far as to argue who looks better between Imee Marcos and Kris Aquino. What's next? Let Kris run for office (but I guess Noynoy must die first) to counter Imee being in office? It's really more than time to get away from the presidential form of government if we expect better candidates.
