The Stupidity Of #LetLeniLead When Vice President Leni Robredo Herself Doesn't Even Follow Simple COVID-19 Guidelines

The call to #LetLeniLead is already on, right? Well, who else (mostly) are calling and shouting to #LetLeniLead other than pasaways. Photos above of Vice President Leni Loud Robredo are NOT manipulated. Sure, the Supreme Court already declared her the winner over Bobong Marcos BUT it was the Supreme Court that acquitted Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo of alleged plunder cases. Leni Loud herself has continued to show the problem - it's not because she's criticizing President Rodrigo R. Duterte but the fact that she's really violating simple guidelines. Shaking hands, letting her hand be blessed, touching an old woman (who's obviously not impressed), and a child really makes you wonder did she even follow simple protocol required by the Department of Health (DOH) and the Inter-Agency Taskforce (IATF)?

What has been one of the "best" reasons why the current "opposition" wants #LetLeniLead? It was to do with her "physical presence". Does Duterte always have to be there? Does Leni Loud always have to be there? The answer is no. It's all about MOBILIZING the people under her. In a business environment, the chairperson of the corporation isn't always there, physically speaking, because he or she has deployed other figures of authority like managers and supervisors. For example, each branch has a manager who gets delegated authority to carry out company operations. Does the chairperson have to be physically present in each and every branch of his or her food chain? The chairperson would only visit certain sites if there was a problem going on. However, the chairperson's physical presence is more required in the company's headquarters than in certain locations. Leni Loud herself would be like a vice-chairperson who would keep showing up in different branches instead of delegating authority to various positions. What's the use of having a branch manager (and that branch manager may be geographically far away) if the chairperson keeps showing up to each and every branch (just think if there were that MANY branches) instead of delegating the authority to such people?

Then again, didn't Leni Loud herself even says that pasaways aren't to blame? The logic is really baffling in too many ways. I'm not saying that the government shouldn't be held accountable for its failures. However, pasaways themselves too are to blame especially when they choose to violate simple guidelines. I'm amazed at how Leni Loud tends to turn a blind eye on pasaways. Did she even consider for a minute that her workers at Angat Buhay might be getting overworked thanks to pasaways? I guess that's why pasaways are now tagging (more than ever) to #LetLeniLead. It's because her logic appeals to them. The blind eye she has is really anything but good.

If she wants to criticize then she better make sure she's not being pasaway herself. Otherwise, she's just a waste of space. I'm not shooting her down because she's a woman. I have respect for great women like President Tsai Ing Wen of Taiwan or Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern of New Zealand. However, Leni Loud is definitely not a strong woman. She shouldn't even be considered as such. #SorryNotSorry but #LetLeniLead just is very wrong on many levels and a disgrace to real strong women everywhere.

Meanwhile, Leni Loud will really be UNDER FIRE in the parliamentary system. A parliamentary system will force her to answer for her actions on a weekly basis. You can imagine her as a Deputy Prime Minister or Deputy Opposition Leader getting roasted for her actions. It's because the parliamentary system has weekly questionings - something that our current presidential system doesn't have.
