Today is National Heroes Day. Both President Rodrigo R. Duterte and Vice President Maria Leonor "Leni Loud Robredo" gave their honors for COVID-19 frontliners. Although I do still feel the air of hypocrisy as Leni Loud refuses to acknowledge that pasaways too are part of the problem. Yes, the frontliners are heroes. But who also gave the frontliners their support this COVID-19? Should we thank socialism or it as the Filipino communists want us to think? Is it those who claim that socialism is better than capitalism? On the contrary, we have CAPITALISM, not socialism, that gave heroes and provided our COVID-19 heroes or equipment for COVID-19 heroes.
The call for socialism is to abolish capitalism and give supposed "equality". Socialism is the principle that says that production, distribution, and exchange must be owned by the community as a whole rather than by private individuals or businessmen. Socialists have their hatred for businessmen but boy do they love luxury products not produced by society (which somehow seeks to abolish competition) as a whole. Then you have the irony that communists hate capitalism but they sure love its products. You can think of how members of the NPA have their MacBook Pros or using i-Phone-X rather than use electronics sold from North Korea. I even think it's bizarrely stupid that Filipino communists love communism but hate China. Then again China is now more capitalist than communist even if it's still a dictatorship. More ironic is that the NPA founder Jose Maria Sison is living in the democratic capitalist Netherlands instead of Venezuela or North Korea. Other communists wish to make it illegal for private schools to exist and put everyone in public schools. However, you see some communists are sending their children to private schools like Toady Casino's children are in La Salle or Carlos "Heneral Lunatic" Zarate has his son in Italy. Hmmm if they hate private schools then why not move to North Korea? Even China as a communist country has private schools!
How did capitalism and not socialism give us heroes and provided for other heroes? It's because capitalism produces the money and equipment that the government needs this COVID-19. How are jobs produced? Jobs are not produced via taxes but the other way around. If businessmen were abolished (such as what the now-deleted Fliptards blog wanted) then think where will the government get finances? It can only work to have no businesses and unlimited money if it rained money which isn't the case. Instead, capitalism has provided taxes through revenues. When people order via Grab, Food Panda, Lalamove, or takeout food from restaurants - the BIR still taxes them either for VAT or quarterly. If hospitals bought loads of food to feed their front-liners - that would still eventually become taxable income even when the hospital declares it as tax-deductible. Then you have businessmen who are giving money to finance relief operations. Other restaurants are even giving food to soldiers and health workers during the pandemic. You can see restaurants giving food to front-liners or even feeding them. They have given both financial and non-financial aid in the form of taxes, food, and even protective equipment to be used by frontliners. Having more than one capitalist helping with the government's consent would have done better. Competition among capitalists has been the reason why they are giving better products. They can't afford to ruin their businesses by distributing faulty relief goods not especially if hospitals and municipalities are buying from them. Not to mention, South Korea had celebrities who donated much of their savings to help defeat COVID-19.
But what about the socialist organizations like Bayad Muna, Akbayad, Anakpatis, Kayabagangan Partylist, and the like? Instead of helping people stay home to help curb down COVID-19 - they are instead encouraging rallies. Later on, UP-Diliman had hundreds of residents infected sometime after the rally took place during June 12. I guess there was an incubation period. I also believe that Jover Laurio needs to be held accountable for inviting people to the "mananita" which obviously made them more guilty than Mocha Usok and now-COVID-19-positive Debobo Sinas. They claim to help but instead they have worsened the problem. In fact, I still agree with Rigoberto Tiglao that rallies have helped increase COVID-19. I mean, how sure are we that those who wore face shields and facemasks during the rally didn't take them off? Also, how can social distancing and sanitization be enforced in such a huge crowd? Not to mention, relief goods given by the socialists are awfully substandard. Many of them don't even follow simple guidelines for sanitation and disinfection. Just think if the kitchen of the socialists didn't follow strict procedures like capitalist kitchens are required to - don't you think the relief goods would be contaminated in the process? That would eventually also help spread COVID-19 in the process. Not to mention I think a lot of members of these socialist groups aren't even paying taxes. Besides, I think they're against the lowering of tax rates because their higher-ups get a lot of money from unjust tax rates for the past several years. I guess it's only normal that ABiaS-CBN stars fought for their franchise instead - just think weren't communist groups protesting for ABiaS-CBN's franchise renewal when COVID-19 is a more important issue?
Let's just think if we abolished capitalism and replaced it with socialism. The consequences can be seen in North Korea and Maoist China. Mao Zedong's China was reeking in unemployment, inflation, and starvation. His Great Leap Forward was a great leap forward to oblivion. North Korea today hardly has any employment. Want to abolish private schools? Well, take a look at how illiteracy is on the rise in socialist countries because all schools are government-owned and there are too many people. Want to get rid of businessmen because they supposedly ruined cottage industries? Well, I guess cottage industries can't grow up then if they can't have a space to rent provided by businessmen. Get rid of competition and monopolize all resources - you will get no competitiveness because there's no reason to stay on one's toes to improve one's business. The issue is not capitalism itself but only when ethics are ignored in the pursuance of wealth. Actually, one has to notice that capitalism without ethics has resulted in socialist scammers. The socialists' real aim in promoting their lies? Get rich by conning people with promises too good to be true. I guess Joma must've absconded with a lot of money with his closest friends. Renato Reyes Jr. enjoys the fruits of capitalism while protesting against it. I think a lot of commie politicians from the party lists themselves are also enriching themselves by fooling gullible people. That's how communism further causes inequality because those in power enjoy their lives at the cost of their citizens. It has NEVER achieved equality and never will because different people have DIFFERENT needs.
Want to get a Filipino to stop supporting socialism because he or she is lazy? The solution is a capitalist-oriented Philippines by opening up the economy. Why do the Filipino communists don't want that? It's because they want more gullible and poor people to exploit. Filipino communist recruiters know the truth that they're lying. Also, if you want to convince someone that socialism doesn't work then let him or her have a job then pay those who aren't performing well the same pay. That person will definitely and really see how socialism is just a stupid fantasy. That's why it's time to really open up the economy in order to pay back the COVID-19 debts.
I don't identify as a DDS, Marcos apologist, an anti-Duterte (lefties), a liberal but rather a Filipino right winger. I swear these people are just exploiting poor people and turning them into "useful idiots". These people are giving them false hope that somehow socialism would fix their problems and situation because mUh cOMmuNiST UtOPiA. of course there are definitely problems with the government such as rampant corruption and how currently our police is operating but these people are not helping the situation but rather create more unnecessary panic among filipinos in order to demoralise them. I am currently disappointed with our President's response with the pandemic but I still have hope that this pandemic would end soon in order to stabilise our economy again. Also, I hate people that says they choose health over the economy when in reality the economy is connected to the health of the people.
ReplyDeleteThanks for actually giving a neutral criticism towards the government without being like PAB or the other similar blogs. While the government needs to answer but pasaways thesmelves are making the situation worse.
DeleteAnyway, I do agree that the socialists are just exploiting useful idiots. The poorer, the better. They oppose any reforms to make the economy better (such as open to FDI) because it will depower them. Common sense really. It does't take a genius to figure that out.
True, economy and health are related. I mean, why do you think those below the poverty line get sick easily while those with proper jobs don't? If there's no money then what will pharmacies, health care centers, and hospitals use to treat the sick and improve their facilities, right?
I wish these types of blog sites are more represented by the media alongside with GetRealPost, but of course Big Tech favours mainstream media. My mind has been enlightened. Get woke go broke, Be based get graced.
DeleteIronic that PAB gets the mainstream media's attention huh?
DeleteThanks to you and others, I change my mind regarding President Duterte's response during this pandemic.
DeleteI recently removed myself from Facebook and the trending section of Twitter (an echo chamber of "activists", yellowtards and socialists) and found out that there are actually a great number of DDS that can actually word their arguments right unlike those dutertards that these dilawans seems to portray as idiots and "blind" (which I know some of them are). How enlightened I am by this. All my friends on Facebook keep on sharing "news" from the lamestream media and it only gave me a doom and gloom feeling about the situation. What you and other types of media similar to you gave me is HOPE which is really needed during a crisis.
Nobody is perfect, but he's juggling many things right now such as COVID-19, terrorist attacks, and the south china sea dispute which is all being handled decently. I don't know how I got to this point, but it started from American right wing channels that "red pilled" me. I couldn't be so much happier to discover that these types of media in the Philippines actually existed.
KEEP MAKING IT FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES!!
