Coming Soon To Theaters: "Trillanes: Bayani Ng Oakwood" Starring Coconuts Martin

I remembered writing a humor piece where I suggested that Coconuts Martin should play as Antonio Trillanes IV. The other one asked the question if you'd watch a film by VIVA Films about Trillanes. VIVA Films had screwed up the presentation of the facts such as what they did with the Flor Contemplacion Story and Jacqueline Come Home. It wouldn't be surprising if they would finally create a VIVA Films movie about Trillanes and cast Martin as the main character. The title I'd propose for the movie is Trillanes: Bayani Ng Oakwood or Trillanes: The Hero of Oakwood. If VIVA could paint Contemplacion as an innocent heroine then why not make Trillanes the good guy of Oakwood?

The movie itself will cover the events of the Oakwood Mutiny where Trillanes tried to overthrow the Arroyo Presidency. Since Ate Glow has retired from show business then maybe Candy Pangilinan-Alvarado will be cast as the "evil" Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. The movie will probably exaggerate whatever allegations were done against Gloria during her term and when the mutiny happened last July 21-23, 2003. That would be an incident that happened 17 years ago would probably be made into a film to glorify Trillanes as a hero.

The film may begin with Trillanes in jail (hence the picture above) where he supposedly suffers quietly and with dignity. It would be where events such as Risa Hontiveros-Baraquel's rise to power (which she will be played by Liza Soberano) and the Aquino presidency (which Jaime Fabregas may play as Noynoy Aquino). The movie may also cover events such as his love story with his wife Arlene Orejana (who might be played by Cheena Crab) and his military training. How VIVA Films will do it is up to them but I'm dropping some hints.

Let's just assume that COVID-19 epidemic will ease down and filming can begin. It would make a perfect entry for the mediocre Imperial Manila Film Festival. Chances are it might end up turning into a comedy. Either way, I'd want to see it happen and let's see how it will end up in theaters.
