The Stupidity Of Using China As An Excuse Not To Open Up The Economy

It's really amazing at how SOME Filipinos are still so economically ignorant, right? This just in, it turns out that the Senate (better renamed the SLOWER House and better abolished in favor of a unicameral Parliament) in favor to amend the Foreign Investments Act of 1991 . The act was first passed during the reign of the late Corazon C. Aquino - a woman more fit to act as chief representative than chief executive of the Filipino people . Now, the law has been amended many times such as when Fidel V. Ramos was president, when Joseph Estrada was the president (and this guy won't last under parliament), when the late Noynoy Aquino became president, and now with Rodrigo R. Duterte who is soon to be former president. However, while the law has been amended from president to president - there has always been the use of China as the boogeyman. Reactions like economic amendments is nothing more than Chinese takeover is FUNNY! This is really funny considering that many of these objecti...

Angel-COVID-19 Mutates Further With Utter ECONOMIC IGNORANCE

This just in - it turns out that Angel Locsin COLMENARES-Arce got the attention of people. So, she did get likes on Instagram but so what? The statement as follows by Angel is obviously that of a clueless woman. Her husband FILM PRODUCER Neil Arce eventually wants to have a "man to man" confrontation with Mon Cualoping when the latter called Angel a boba. Hmmm... so much for saying that ABiaS-CBN is the paragon of "freedom of speech" huh? Not to mention, wanting a man to man confrontation is really proving that there's nothing more than fake decency. It's the bitter truth that Angel is indeed BOBA. Also, if Neil wants to show he is decent then he should learn to ignore that insult from Cualoping because it's not even life-threatening. Then again what do you expect from a nation of butthurts?  I'm amazed at how the classic case of ABiaS-CBN's BEAUTY WITHOUT BRAINS for this statement which makes me question her mind: This crisis has made me re...

Supply And Demand, Not Presidents, Are To Blame For High Cost Of Utilities For More Than 30 Years

Tomorrow is September 11 the birthday of the late despot, Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr. Now, I decided to write this post on the high cost of utilities - something that's hardly dealt with until now. Public utilities are defined as water, electricity, natural gas, telecommunications, gas, and other ESSENTIALS to operate daily in this modern age. I could remember the struggle for decades is that, EVEN AFTER THE END OF THE MARCOS YEARS, the cost of utilities is still that expensive.  It doesn't take a rocket economist or to get a degree in economics from Ateneo De Manila University (ADMU) or the University of the Philippines (UP) to understand this. What we need to revisit some high school and college economics. I confess that I didn't initially do well in economics in my high school years (but got better). I only have basic knowledge in economics in college and graduate school. Economics' first basic principle is SUPPLY AND DEMAND. This basic rule learned in high school (or m...

Current DOH Woes Will Be MUCH EASIER To Address In A PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM

It should be a sad state whenever politicians demand accountability BUT they still want to stick to the 1987 Constitution. Are they still too enamored by the now-proven WRONG statement by Hilarious Davide Jr.? If so, the current hearing to scrutinize the Department of Health (DOH) in regards to spending are a joke. I'm not saying it's wrong for Senator Richard "Dick" Gordon and Chief Auditor Michael G. Aguinaldo to do some scrutiny - we need that! However, the recent current system doesn't define the government from the opposition. A very good example is how Vice President Leni Loud Robredo is both the vice president AND opposition leader at the same time. Not a very well-defined role, right? That's why I call presidential appointees as MAHJONG appointees . Aguinaldo of the Commission on Audit (COA) is a Liberal Party stalwart hence he's automatically an opposition member. However, such is NOT the case in the parliamentary system. It's because the gove...

Indifference Is Far Deadlier Than Any COVID-19 Variant

I'm just amazed at how other countries are doing their vaccine drives better. What about the Philippines? It seems politicking is already more prevalent. This time, I'm not going to side with either which DDS or Dilawan - both sides have FAILED miserably because of the presidential system. Yet, the real problem even before that dichotomy is the attitudes of indifference and impunity. Yes, that's what I'm talking about. It's very easy to have a lot of irritating talk from one's fellow Filipino. This article is going to incite a lot of hate toward it. However, I do feel that I must write it, especially with the still ONGOING COVID-19 epidemic and the "-ber" months at hand. I hope this will be an eye-opener will really get a lot of people's butthurt asses on fire all the more. Mapait? Lagyan mo ng asukal!   Ever heard of the situation is bitter? Unfortunately, rather than lending a helping hand, it has become common to say, "Mapait? Lagyan mo ng ...

After Super Mar, We Have Wonder Leni

Elections are just around the corner, right? 2016 was the year when Sa Gitna Ng Unos was released. It was the "hit" comic book series where Mar Roxas was promoted as the "Hero of Yolanda". However, Mar lost the 2016 and even the 2019 elections. Now, it's 2021 and elections are very near since 2022 is just very near. Now, the Liberal Party has decided to release the official sequel of Sa Gitna Ng Unos namely Servant Leader Leni Robredo . Yes, Leni Loud herself is now the heroine. After Super Mar failed - the Liberal Party decided to try another of their useless theatrics  by turning Leni Loud herself into Wonder Leni. This makes me really laugh at how stupid things are becoming for the Liberal Party and their useless antics.  Four years ago, I remembered I wrote about the problem of many Filipinos have their "facts" based on komiks, pelikulas, and teleseryes . For example, some the best sources for the "facts" such as the Vizconde Massacre was...

Don't Think Too Much About Christmas, Focus On Defeating COVID-19 As A Country

Last year, it was a COVID-19-ridden Christmas . Did Christmas really temporarily stop COVID-19? It didn't. Instead, the "most wonderful time of the year" was ruined by COVID-19. Yet, some Filipinos still insist in their stupidity such as the "wonderful world" of last minute Christmas shopping. Since it's the beginning of the "-ber" months - it's very easy to think of Christmas is on the air. However, as long as there's COVID-19 and there's NO HERD IMMUNITY YET - don't celebrate just yet. In fact, some people will NOT be able to celebrate Christmas with their loved ones as hospitals are getting stuffed. Yet, some people don't want to get vaccinated or others still want to rally believing that the rallies (daw) didn't lead to an increase in COVID-19 cases in the United States of America (USA). Well, isn't it that the USA TOPPED COVID-19 infections WORLDWIDE ? Now, it's time to think of how the United Kingdom (UK) did...
