Angel-COVID-19 Mutates Further With Utter ECONOMIC IGNORANCE

This just in - it turns out that Angel Locsin COLMENARES-Arce got the attention of people. So, she did get likes on Instagram but so what? The statement as follows by Angel is obviously that of a clueless woman. Her husband FILM PRODUCER Neil Arce eventually wants to have a "man to man" confrontation with Mon Cualoping when the latter called Angel a boba. Hmmm... so much for saying that ABiaS-CBN is the paragon of "freedom of speech" huh? Not to mention, wanting a man to man confrontation is really proving that there's nothing more than fake decency. It's the bitter truth that Angel is indeed BOBA. Also, if Neil wants to show he is decent then he should learn to ignore that insult from Cualoping because it's not even life-threatening. Then again what do you expect from a nation of butthurts?

I'm amazed at how the classic case of ABiaS-CBN's BEAUTY WITHOUT BRAINS for this statement which makes me question her mind:

This crisis has made me realize that the world can work without politicians, businessmen, police, and even without actors like me. But the world can never work without health workers. Again, thank you for all that you do. Sending everyone strength, hope, and love…

This just feels plastic when she says, "And even without actors like me." The part of her statement that says that the world can work without politicians, businessmen, and police is DEAD WRONG. We need them in the pandemic. We need politicians to guide the people (though the Philippines has had a history of POOR GUIDANCE due to the presidential system), policemen to keep the law and order (especially people who take advantage of the pandemic to profiteer), AND businessmen to pay taxes and do donations. Angel really seems to think that the health workers are the only ones necessary now? What an ignorant statement!

One just needs to do a review of Angel's actions as well as the ABiaS-CBN celebrities. For a start, the ABiaS-CBN celebrities are a complete contrast to the Korean celebrities. I still can't help but laugh at how I contrasted Shaina Garcia Magdayao vs her "twin" Jin A Nana or Sarah Jane Elgago to her "twin" Shin Hye Sun. Did the ABiaS-CBN celebrities even do ANY HELP to defeat COVID-19? All they did was to help increase the cases. Rigoberto Tiglao's expose on ABias-CBN regarding the pandemic is really helpful. Tiglao may be ignorant about foreign investments but he definitely does his homework. Now, she starts to release a half-ass statement. I'm really "thrilled" not especially when The General's Daughter is going to air in Netflix Philippines. But let's see if it will gain any more views or if it will beat the Korean action dramas for a start.

To say that businessmen aren't needed is really ignorance about economics

Again, Angel is most likely affiliated with Gagabriela which is a legal front of the CPP-NPA. Her nephew old enough to be her father Neri COLMENARES is also a staunch opponent of capitalism. Angel was an endorser of Colmenares more than once. Businessmen are the ones that power the pantry. If there were no businessmen then where will health workers and pantries get their supplies? Pantries need to buy their pantries from the groceries before they can give the stuff to the less needy. Groceries need the money to buy their supplies if pantry holders expect to continue letting their pantries continue to provide for the less needy. Besides, businessmen are also donating to charity to help with the COVID-19 crisis. If the economy is to boost itself then businessmen are NEEDED.

If there are no businessmen then who will spend for the needs of health workers? Where will health workers get extra money? If their answer is from the government coffers then don't complain if COVID-19 debts will SKYROCKET again. The businessmen provide TAXES and DONATIONS. A businessman may also be giving free food to the health workers. For example, some businesses are receiving donations so they can give free food or drink for the food delivery drivers. The taxes are badly needed to help the spending of the government. However, there aren't enough businesses in the Philippines as there are still sectors governed by the negative list. I mean, the late Noynoy Aquino should've worked to liberalize the utilities sector away from 60-40 completely and maybe he'd have doubled the economic boom he did. More businesses equals more money to pay for the COVID-19-related spending.

This is also why I've been advocating for the liberalization of the economy even further. Then again, the CPP-NPA and all its legal fronts don't even follow Deng Xiaoping's brand of communism. Deng, unlike IBON Foundation, even said, "Poverty isn't communism. To be rich is glorious." Deng's new communist vision was to create equal opportunities to get out of poverty BUT he made it, "No work, no pay." Deng went to the USA and said, "Communist China is open for business." Mao Zedong's "Chinese First Policy" was a real failure. Carlos P. Garcia's "Filipino First Policy" also caused more failure and even contributed to the national decay during the "golden" Marcos Years. More competition to Filipino businesses would mean more income tax, more jobs, and more opportunities to grow from one's suppliers and customers due to an increase in competition.

If Angel is really against foreign investment then she is in a terrible failure of the mind. One should look at the economic history of Singapore and China. China was once isolated from the world by Mao's "Chinese First Policy" and it became a garbage dump. Deng went to the USA and invited foreign investors in his dream of creating his communist utopia. The late Lee Kuan Yew started inviting foreign investors to Singapore to invest. Vietnam practiced accepting foreign investments into their communist state. The excuses are all disproved by the facts of history. North Korea and Venezuela continue to prove how their brand of communism was a failure. Both China and Vietnam made a communist system that works because they accept free market characteristics.

Besides, I guess these celebrities are too used to their comfort zones. I still think about how I laugh that the "hit show" Ang Probinsyano seems to have no end in sight. People still thinking it's the "best show ever" are still stuck on it while I'm enjoying other crime drama on Netflix. For instance, I felt that Lawless Lawyer may be another hero that puts Cardo Dalisay to shame. The teleseryes are still comfort zones for celebrities. I guess Angel is still living too much in her comfort zone to truly understand economics huh?
