People might say, "Umaayos na ang Pinas! Nanalo sina Kikoman at si Bum!" Well, sorry to say but the Philippines is still stuck with the 1987 Constipation of the Philippines. Oftentimes, charter change is often associated with the return of Marcos imperialism. By the way, there's really NO WAY in history that the Marcos Empire was really a parliamentary system. Ninoy Aquino even lambasted the idea during the Marcos Empire years, "We had a parliamentary form of government WITHOUT a parliament." That means the silly claims of a man carrying a machete while wearing a hockey mask -- are INVALID!
Atty. Kikoman Cuneta errr Pangilinan even promised free breakfast. The big question is SAAN TAYO KUKUHA NG PONDO?! Even more, the way Kikoman talked with Rolling Stones makes me think about, "What does he mean by feeding Filipinos?" Sure, it's a noble task to want to end hunger. However, no one can truly end hunger if all we do is give free food. It's because something free COST SOMEONE SOMETHING. It's like if I give you free ice cream -- it cost me MY MONEY!
"Give a man fish and he will have a meal for a day. Teach him how to fish and he will have a meal for a lifetime." It's possible Kikoman won because he promised FREE BREAKFAST. Who doesn't want free breakfast daily? However, the question of SUSTAINABILITY kicks in sooner or later. One must ask where Kikoman will get the money. Does Kikoman plan to do a magic show or let it rain money? That's just too good to be true.
Kikoman had won. But with great power comes great responsibility. Kikoman needs to think beyond the framework of the 1987 Constipation of the Philippines. The 1987 Constipation has been defective because certain rules are keeping the Philippines SLOW.
