Like It OR NOT, President Bobong Marcos Isn't Wrong To Mention Garbage As Why Floods Happen

Hate the president or love him -- I'm afraid that Bobong Marcos is right. Yes, I dislike the guy because he merely won because of POPULARITY POLITICS. 1987 Constipation is still da best in the world? Back on track -- Bobong hits SOME hard-hitting truth that people need to listen even if they don't like him .  Further, Marcos also said that improper waste disposal has also resulted in deep flood waters during heavy rains.  “Nagkaproblema lang. Sana matuto naman ang tao. Huwag kayong nagtatapon ng basura dahil ‘yung basura, ‘yun ang nagbara doon sa mga pump natin kaya hindi kasing effective na puwede, ” he added.  (We just had a problem. I hope people will learn. Please don’t simply throw your waste because these can clog our pumps, that’s why they are not that effective .)  In the aftermath of Super Typhoon Carina, several senators hit the implementation of flood control projects which they said were allocated hundreds of billions under the national budget yearly. As ...

COMMUNIST Vietnam's Top Leader Dies, No Tribute From Filipino Communists?!

Yes, you got that right -- Vietnam's top Communist finally dies at 80 years old! Nguyen Phu Trong followed the late Joma Sison into the afterlife. I revisited the pessimistic blog Get Real Philippines and reread a post that gave me this idea. Benign0 wrote the blog post during the time Joma passed away. As CPP-NPA really means COMMUNIST Party of the Philippines-New People's Army -- why haven't there been any words of sympathy or condolences from the CPP-NPA for Vietnam's late leader?  Altermidya When Joma died -- tribute came out even from groups that refused to be red-tagged . Groups like Bayad Muna, Lazy Filipino Students, Kayabangan Partylist, Migraine International, etc. -- gave their heartfelt tribute to a FAILED COMMUNIST LEADER. Joma was a failure through and through. Mao Zedong took over China. Ho Chi Minh established North Vietnam and his followers fulfilled his dream. Chiang Kai Shek was forced to flee to Taiwan. Saigon fell and was renamed Ho Chi Minh City. ...

Just For Fun: How "Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger" Has Better Execution Than "Buntis Faib Legacy" (Some Spoilers)

It's been more than a year since Buntis Faib Legacy and Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger aired. I decided to write this random post but blogging is just my hobby. I would like to write this wacky post to berate Buntis Faib Legacy even more. I wrote some wacky King-Ohger episode reviews. Quite interestingly, King-Ohger is also the name of the main mecha (or Megazord for Western fans) like Voltes V is the name of the titular robot. Just a note -- there will be some spoilers for those who haven't seen King-Ohger . Meanwhile, I'll put in plenty of spoilers for Buntis Faib Legacy so you don't need to watch that HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE SHOW. King-Ohger was almost like blending in elements of the Heisei era to Reiwa era Kamen Rider into Super Sentai . The bug theme was taken from Kamen Rider -- most Kamen Riders have a bug theme going on while only a few don't. Even the reboot Kamen Rider Kuuga is bug-themed. I could remember GMA-7 airing (and badly dubbing)  Kamen Rider Faiz and Kam...

Nope, It's Not Kayabangan Partylist With Their Green Summer 2024 Campaign

Vietnam Plus What amazes me is that the CPP-NPA has some similar wings to the CPV. The photo above might look like it's Kayabangan Partylist having a vacation or political trip to Vietnam. Instead, it's the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) founded on March 26, 1931 . That makes the organization 93 years old. Ho Chi Minh founded the organization during the Vietnam War. The campaign started on July 6, 2024, with the Communist youths dispatched to these provinces: The campaign launched by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Students Association of Hanoi will be carried out in 31 cities and provinces, with the participation of more than 16,000 young volunteers of 339 teams, reported Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV). About 70 teams of young volunteers will fan out to seven key provinces, namely Thai Binh, Hoa Binh, Ha Nam, Tuyen Quang, Lang Son, Thai Nguyen and Bac Kan. The campaign is expected to benefit communities with a total value of more than 33.6 billion VND...

Shaina Magdayao's Joining The New York Asia Film Festival Jury Meaningless If ABiaS-CBN Still Goes Against Reforming The 1987 Constipation

Last year, I wrote about Shaina Garcia Magdayao going to the Busan International Film Festival. What I missed yesterday was that Shaina herself got chosen to be part of the New York Asia Film Festival at New York .  Filipina actress Shaina Magdayao represented the Philippines at the New York Asia Film Festival (NYAFF) as part of the Uncaged Competition with esteemed jury members. Joining her are Tony Bui (Vietnamese-US director, "Three Seasons"), Shao-yi Chen (Taiwan Screenworks Asia producer, Screenworks Asia), Felix Tsang (Hong Kong’s Golden Scene sales & acquisitions manager), Nonkul Chanon Santinatornkul (Thai star of box office hit "Bad Genius"), and Aliza Ma (Head of Programming, the Criterion Channel). NYAFF also announced that the recipient of this year’s Screen International Star Asia Award will be Nicholas Tse, a Hong Kong actor, singer, songwriter, entrepreneur and TV chef. It's very easy to scream Penoy Prayd whenever a Filipino makes it big abro...
