Why Deng Xiaoping Isn't Respected Nor Upheld As A Role Model By The CPP-NPA And Its Legal Fronts

August 22 is the birthday of Deng Xiaoping - the man who made Modern Communist China. China was an era left battered by the irresponsible "Daang Matuwid" of Mao Zedong. After Zhou Enlai, Deng finally took over a battered China that was far poorer than how Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr. left it. Deng makes a name in communist circles worldwide. Yet, why is he so ignored or not even respected by the CPP-NPA and all its legal fronts?

Let's look at the important figures of the CPP-NPA in their rallies

You have the pictures of Karl Marx, Freidrich Engels, Vladimir Leni, Joseph Stalin, and Mao raised by the CPP-NPA and the legal fronts. Wait, isn't it ironic (or not) that you don't see a portrait of the great Chinese communist leader Deng. Deng, the very guy who made China a great nation, is widely NOT recognized. Deng made Communist China a nation to be feared. Yet, why are the CPP-NPA members and their legal fronts choosing NOT to honor Deng? Isn't it ironic? Why are they honoring losers like Marx or Mao who drove China to poverty? Why not honor Deng who made China into a big, progressive communist army to be feared?

The answer lies with the Jose Maria Sison school of thought. The irony is that the CPP-NPA is dying from aging, obsolete ideals yet they still stick to it. Sison in his own words decided to renounce Deng as a traitor to the cause of Mao. I guess that's why Deng chose not to hide in CHINA while he hypocritically hid in the Netherlands. Isn't it ironic? By doing so, Sison failed to secure their possible closest ally - CHINA! The CPP-NPA could've won years ago if they decided to drop the Maoist manual in favor of Deng's revolutionary ideas which I will discuss next.

Deng's new brand of communism defies the views of the CPP-NPA's stupidity

Deng may be notorious for the Tiananmen Square Massacre while we can't deny his role in bringing China out of the hermetic state that it was. Deng's definition of communism may blow your mind. The CPP-NPA and its legal fronts still have this victim mentality going on. Yet, for Deng, he decided to say one of the most mind-blowing things ever. The typical socialists tend to blame the rich for their poverty. However, Deng said something that the CPP-NPA will never agree (while they hate capitalism but love its products) can be better translated as, "Poverty is not communism. To be rich is glorious!" Quite a different view from IBON Foundation and its rich-shaming like how they think that the TRAIN Law only favors the rich.

Deng can be considered a very controversial figure. The CPP-NPA always had its slogans such as "IBAGSAK ANG REHIMENG FASISTA US.-CHINA-(INSERT PRESIDENT)!" He went to Texas and experienced the Wild, Wild West. Unlike the likes of Bayad Muna, IBON Foundation, Alliance of Complaining Teachers, and the other CPP-NPA legal fronts - he said the thing they'd hate to hear. It's namely that Deng told the Americans, "Communist China is open for business!" China was open for business soon enough then came the real great leap forward! Deng didn't spend the whole time whining about the mess Mao made. Instead, Deng took the initiative to open up the country with a new Communist China in mind. Deng decided it was time to rewrite the Communist Manifesto to fit into the modern age.

Deng had bought several ideologies to create a brand-new communist society. It turns out that Western economists had introduced the free market ideology into Communist China. Buying ideologies of the free market is definitely a no-no for the CPP-NPA. His plan didn't have the pessimistic ideas that are endorsed by the likes of Neri Colmenares, Toady Casino, Antonio Tinio, Sonny Africa, and other commie idiots in the Philippines. He would have said, "Fool! Foreign investment isn't evil! It will help our glorious communist state!" An influx of foreign investments came into China and started to create China from an impoverished state into a super communist power that the CPP-NPA can dream of becoming. This was also an amazing move that caused Communist Vietnam to open up its economy and recover from the Vietnam War.

Learning from Singapore... a nation that Migraine International has an ax to grind with

Migraine International, another CPP-NPA legal front, still has an ax to grind with both Singapore and China. Who can remember the "martyrdom" of "Saint' Flor Contemplacion" that happened in 1995? Deng died two years after that event. Deng didn't say, "Singapore is too small and China is too big." The excuse of some Filipinos is that we can't imitate Singapore in any way because the Philippines is an archipelago while Singapore is a small country. Nope, Deng ended up meeting with the late Lee Kuan Yew (who obviously didn't transform Singapore into a vicious tiger in just six years) and decided to learn from him too.

I guess Migraine still has an ax to grind with Singapore because of Flor's supposed martyrdom. What's their best source to prove her innocence? Is it the movie called The Flor Contemplacion Story by VIVA Films? I watched the film and it was pure B.S. and the twin sons of Flor starred in the movie as themselves. It was a movie meant to catapult the cause of Migraine International. Their attitude of still hating Singapore (though ironically now, some of the legal fronts are USING IT to criticize President Rodrigo R. Duterte's shortcomings) may be another reason why Deng is never honored in their rallies too.

Deng chose to learn from Singapore than antagonizing it. Lee, though a democrat, praised communist leader Deng for the latter's reforms. Deng looked up to Singapore as an example of economic development even if he considered himself a communist. The respect between the communist and the democrat was mutual.

The great loss of the CPP-NPA by NOT honoring Deng as one of their role models

I think it's really a big stupid mistake of the CPP-NPA to still uphold Mao's obsolete principles. It's obvious that Mao's Great Leap Forward was a disaster. It's obvious Karl Marx's methods never work. Yet, the CPP-NPA with all its legal fronts is still holding on to them either because it benefits them or because they believe it or a combination of both. Deng had a lot of ideas of how the CPP-NPA could've taken over. Instead, the CPP-NPA had ended up losing its possible closest ally. They could've won the battle years ago if China was on their side!

Sison could've learned a thing or two from Deng. Maybe, Sison could've considered hiding in Beijing while reading the revolutionary ideals of Deng. Deng could've passed literature against state protectionism started by both Carlos P. Garcia and later Marcos. These ideals could've led to a revolution during the "martyrdom" of Flor in Singapore. Migraine International could've sparked relevance if they shouted, "END LABOR EXPORT! OPEN UP THE ECONOMY!" Instead, Migraine wanted to end labor export while continuing protectionism. The absurdity is still there, right?

Recently, the CPP-NPA could've won the revolution during the pandemic. SINOVAC is now used as part to help combat COVID-19. The CPP-NPA (and its legal fronts) could've purchased Sinovac as part of winning the armed revolution. They could've used other Chinese-made gadgets in the revolution to help them win the war. Can you imagine what if Sarah Jane I. Elgago of Kayabangan Partylist and Antonio Tinio of Alliance of Complaining Teachers gave Huawei tablets to teachers in need instead of asking for tablets from the government? Can you imagine if medical personnel who are members of these legal fronts offered a vaccination site and injected people with Sinovac? They could've created herd immunity by vaccinating their recruits and the people. Instead, they still foolishly chose to antagonize China.

This would be what I'd call an incredible failure of the mind on the part of the CPP-NPA not to honor Deng!

  1. It's simple. For them, Deng Xiaoping was a revisionist who turned China into an "imperialist".
