What's The Use Of Admiring Lee Hsien Loong's Praise For The Recently Deceased Noynoy If Yellowtards Still REJECT Constitutional Reform?

Whether Dutertards and Macoytards like it or not - the late Noynoy Aquino still did some contributions DURING his term. Sure, Noynoy had an impact of actually failing to apologize during the late Rolando Mendoza incident, but we can't also deny that there was also ECONOMIC PROGRESS during his term. It's pretty much that Noynoy is halfway Mao Zedong and halfway Deng Xiaoping. Until now, I'm amazed at how Yellowtards love to admire their recently deceased chairman but fail to know how he caused the progress of the Philippines during his term? Part of Noynoy's stability as mentioned is that economic amendments for certain sectors that needed easing down were passed. In fact, it was also in 2015 when that idiot, former Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) president Socrates Villegas, ends up showing his barriotic mentality. Yet, he had the nerve to deliver a good eulogy for Noynoy during the wake. I guess it was only normal that Lee Hsien Loong, the current prime minister of Singapore had praised Noynoy for economic progress and stability.

I find it amazing that Yellowtards are now raising certain valid facts while refusing to accept the need for constitutional reform to parliamentary. For one, they admire Canada's cabinet but are they assuming that Justin Trudeau is the president? Another is that Vice President Leni Loud Robredo mentioned certain female leaders but is she aware that those female leaders she admires are mostly PRIME MINISTERS? Besides, weren't the Yellowtards also among those who fought the battle to REVISE the 1987 Constitution? It's really something that they fought against reforms that could've benefited them. They just kept thinking of it as "Gloria Forever Constitution" when the parliamentary system could've guaranteed Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo's EASIER removal by a vote of no confidence

What they failed to see is that Noynoy himself could've done better under a parliamentary system. Sure, it would've had a much different outcome with how Noynoy couldn't suppress the truth that long if he were the prime minister. However, I don't think incidents like the Mamasapano Incident or the falure to apologize during the Manila Hostage Crisis would've happened. For one, if Noynoy were the prime minister instead of the president, he would need to answer to the Opposition on a weekly basis. Maybe, Noynoy would've taken extra care to apologize to Hong Kong for the botched incident or that he would've consulted with the whole Parliament on how to arrest the late Marwan. Also, Noynoy had some projects left undone for one reason - it's because of term limits. A parliamentary system would've permitted Noynoy (along with the Liberal Party) another term in the Government or the Opposition. They could easily bring up the projects left undone and have them finished. Instead, it was placed in the risky hypothetical scenario of what if President Rodrigo R. Duterte didn't decide to finish them? Also, Noynoy did finish the aqueduct during Gloria's term but ended up abandoning the anti-flood project. I'd attribute much of Noynoy's shortcomings more to the system than Noynoy (or ANY LEADER) to the system. Even right now, Duterte's shortcomings are because of the SYSTEM.

How could Noynoy have established a bigger tiger economy under a parliamentary system? It's because Noynoy would be subjected to scrutiny every week if he were prime minister. Noynoy as prime minister would've to behave himself unless he wants to be voted out or resign honorably. Any plan Noynoy has for the economy will be subjected to the Opposition for scrutiny. For example, Opposition Leader Dick Gordon would've probably said, "But shouldn't we ease the telcos and power suppliers too?" Noynoy was known to have also eased certain sectors from excessive restrictions. I guess Noynoy was either indecisive in certain areas of economic reforms.

Do you want the Philippines to have a Mahathir Mohamad or a Lee Kuan Yew? Well, the solution isn't to keep "voting wisely". What's the use of telling people to "vote wisely" when the SYSTEM itself is stupid? The presidential system is stuck with TOO MUCH personality politics. The parliamentary system holds better accountability to everyone. IF you admire Lee Hsien Long but HATE the parliamentar system then you really have no business bringing his praise for Noynoy (or anybody) up then!
