Let's Allow Duterte, Robredo, To Do Their Relief Efforts By NOT POLITICIZING Them

It's really something when the social networks can be SO FULL of noise. You can think of how people can criticize President Rodrigo R. Duterte and Vice President Leni Loud Robredo in their relief efforts. Well, it's not very fortunate that the Bicol region (where Leni Loud comes from) is very prone to typhoons and flooding. There was even that #NasaanAngPangulo hashtag when Duterte didn't make an immediate response. It's good that Leni Loud did make her response first. In the case of Duterte, he had to wait until the typhoon passed away before flying. It would be VERY IMPRACTICAL even for a presidential plane (because it's NOT built like a rescue plane) to fly during the storm. If Leni Loud was able to make it there first due to better circumstances then GOOD FOR HER. 

Do you remember when Duterte actually FIRED PACC's ex-commissioner, Manuelito Luna, for actually trying to stop Leni Loud from participating? We need all the help we can get and Leni Loud's Angat Buhay relief efforts are MORE THAN WELCOME as long as they follow guidelines. Whoever made that report of rotten food from Angat Buhay might consider issuing a public apology and paying a fine to Leni Loud's office. I don't like Leni Loud but if she's managed to help people then LET HER HELP. I can't be too sure if she's just there for photo-ops or she's actually doing what she can. Sure, there are some people already hissing at her but if she's providing good help then LET HER HELP. If Leni Loud and her kind want to help - LET THEM UP. However, the likes of Jover Laurio, Agot Isidro, and Leah Navarro should just learn to do their jobs without throwing unnecessary criticisms. If they want to criticize - it should be towards IMPROVING Duterte's performance. They should be thankful that they haven't been sacked UNTIL NOW. Duterte just helped Leni Loud and recognized her willingness to help yet the Yellowtards just BITCH AND BITCH all they can because fewer and fewer people will eventually listen to them. 

Demanding Duterte or Leni Loud to be there all the time with the hashtags #NasaanAngPangulo and #NasaanSiLeni? Haven't you heard of the delegation of authority and required initiative? The local government units (LGUs) are required to MOBILIZE with or without Duterte or Leni Loud. Angat Buhay is required to mobilize when there's a disaster even if Leni Loud is physically unable to be automatically there. If Angat Buhay went to Camarines Sur right now even without Leni Loud showing up then it's good. The same goes for LGUs that went ahead of Duterte. They're all required to mobilize without Duterte or Leni Loud. 

We need to consider that we need all the help we can get whether it's Duterte or Leni Loud. I think it's better that they did separate visits because more ground can be covered. Duterte has his team and Leni Loud has her team. Both teams need to spread out and help in whatever areas they can. The media should cover them both and not just one over the other. Though, Leni Loud may consider also having fewer media coverage so she can do her job better. Duterte should also do the same with media if they want to interview him. What we need right now is MORE relief efforts and less politicizing.
