Amos Yee has been a favorite subject of mine to nitpick here, right? That legendary Singaporean brat now gives a lot of worse palamura (swearing) than President Duterte ever does in this video. Just try and listen to this one. Yee's words are that of an obvious Communist activist which he is. Fortunately, his blog at Wordpress is now gone.
He's subscribed to the philosophy of anarchical communism (which may be what defines the New People's Army's or NPA's driving force) as defined by LibCom.Org:
Anarchist communism is a form of anarchism that advocates the abolition of the State and capitalism in favour of a horizontal network of voluntary associations through which everyone will be free to satisfy his or her needs.
Anarchist communism is also known as anarcho-communism, communist anarchism, or, sometimes, libertarian communism. However, while all anarchist communists are libertarian communists, some libertarian communists, such as council communists, are not anarchists. What distinguishes anarchist communism from other variants of libertarian communism is the former's opposition to all forms of political power, hierarchy and domination.
Anarchist communism stresses egalitarianism and the abolition of social hierarchy and class distinctions that arise from unequal wealth distribution, the abolition of capitalism and money, and the collective production and distribution of wealth by means of voluntary associations. In anarchist communism, the state and property no longer exist. Each individual and group is free to contribute to production and to satisfy their needs based on their own choice. Systems of production and distribution are managed by their participants.
The abolition of wage labour is central to anarchist communism. With distribution of wealth being based on self-determined needs, people will be free to engage in whatever activities they find most fulfilling and will no longer have to engage in work for which they have neither the temperament nor the aptitude. Anarchist communists argue that there is no valid way of measuring the value of any one person's economic contributions because all wealth is a collective product of current and preceding generations. Anarchist communists argue that any economic system based on wage labour and private property will require a coercive state apparatus to enforce property rights and to maintain the unequal economic relationships that will inevitably arise.
Honestly, I find the whole "F*** your family!" to be very disrespectful. The recent hearing at the Senate has minors who have become disrespectful to their parents and have left to join Communist groups in the Philippines. We have students who have been joining Filipino Communist groups in the Philippines and many of them have not returned home. Parents have been found crying in the Senate hearing yet Representative Sarah Elago has the nerve to even cry it out as "harassment". His statements here make me think that Kabataan Parylist should hire him as a speaker. Sometimes, parents have to disapprove of doing something you love IF that something is not good. While parents shouldn't be controlling but they shouldn't be overly permissive. Remember democracy and anarchy are two different ideals. Democracy believes in rules but not anarchy!
I don't care where Kabataan Partylist will let Yee do his speech. Maybe at any University of the Philippines campus. Maybe, at the Ateneo De Manila University. Maybe, they can have an event to be held at any suitable venue in Oakwood or Manila Peninsula. Maybe, they can have it at the Manila Peninsula Hotel where Antonio Trillanes IV was arrested during the failed mutiny. I don't care. Just let it happen and let Kabataan Partylist get this guy to speak for them. It'd be so fun to see them make a fool out of themselves for the umpteenth time!
Then, of course, the supreme irony of these symposiums held by Communist idiots. These guys go against capitalism but they love its products. Just expect that maybe the capitalist-hating Yee and the others will be bringing Apple laptops and use i-Phones. Maybe, they will have a selfie with Sarah's newest i-Phone after the event. They will be using high-class equipment for their venue. Heck, did any of the equipment they have come from Venezuela and North Korea? If they hate capitalism then why use capitalist products to go against it? What a self-contradiction but they don't care as long as it benefits them, right?
