Can You Imagine Noynoy's Controversial Statement About Solar And Wind Energy At The Weekly Question Hour?

Since it's summer in the Philippines and I admit the heat is REALLY UP to the point that electricity is in demand. Then I remembered Noynoy Aquino's rather stupid question where he asks, "If you establish a wind powered plant -- what if there is no wind? If you establish a solar powered plant -- what if there is no sun?" But can you imagine what if he as a prime minister (or right now as opposition leader) decided to raise that question during the weekly question hour

I could imagine the face of the other party or even his own party mates when it comes to the weekly question hour regarding renewable energy. Just imagine him as a prime minister last 2013 if he raised that objection to the Opposition or Minority Bloc. Just imagine what if he said his stupid statement not during the SONA but during a debate where both his side and the Opposition must duke it out on renewable energy.

Now let's just imagine the scenario where Ilocos Norte's former governor turned senator turned Opposition Leader will have to face against Prime Minister Noynoy. So the debate is on renewable energy and Prime Minister Noynoy will raise objections to Bongbong saying, "In due excellence I would like to address two major concerns. First, if there is no sun then what good would a solar plant do? Second, if there is no wind then what good will a wind powered plant do?"

This may cause Opposition Leader Bongbong Marcos to say, "In due objection, both me and my sister Imee Marcos have established these plants. Let me show you the effectiveness and how they work. You can see that there are storage cells where the power is stored. So it's not much of a problem if there's no sun or no wind."

The fact is if the Prime Minister himself doesn't know simple science -- it could be a ground to grill him. Worse comes to worst would be the call for a vote of no confidence would have probably yanked Noynoy out of office years ago. It's no wonder why the Dilawans don't like the idea of shifting to a parliamentary system -- it's because them and their kind won't last unless they straighten up and do their jobs right!
