#TindigPilipinas And #Yellowtards Also Have Noynoy Aquino To Thank For The Fact That #EDSAisDead

Why is the EDSA celebration good as dead? It's not because Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr. got buried at the Libingan Ng Mga Bayani along with other presidents who weren't heroes either. It all has to do with the presidency of one person -- Benigno Simeon Cojuangco Aquino III during the Noynoying Years. How did he cause the demise of EDSA? Read on to find out!

The mainstream media can keep sensationalizing how the Noynoying Years were supposedly the golden years of the Philippines. Just because the Marcos Years weren't the golden years doesn't mean that the Cory Years and the Noynoying Years were also the golden years. What slipped my mind was that Corazon C. Aquino even went as far as to sue someone for libel at the Philippine Star for merely saying "she was hiding under her bed". CRappler only got its Securities and Exchange Commission suspended for violating the current laws. It may also be suspended for allegedly having ties with international destabilizers. It should also be shut down for publishing fake news as well.

How did Noynoy also cause the demise of EDSA? You can think of how his appointees were proven to inadvertently help in his downfall. Instead of appointing people according to their qualifications -- most of his appointees were from the Liberal Party or his closest friends. Just think of how stupid it is to replace Etta Rosales with campaign lawyer Chito Gascon for the Commission of Human Rights. His appointment of such idiots like Mar Roxas, Stinky Soliman and Joseph Pabaya proved how ineffective the Liberal Party is in reality. Appointing such idiots made their departments ineffective. One can think of how the CHR has become a government agency protecting the rights of wealthy criminals instead of people whose human rights were violated as one good example of how his inefficiency exposed the dirt of the Liberal Party. Yet, some people still continue to blame President Duterte for the lapses done during the previous administration.

Aside from the 30 years of no change -- we can see how the Liberal Party's promise for progress yielded so little results in the long run. Sure, there's some growth rate yet one has to think about it. Noynoy's refusal to open up the economy hindered whatever economic reforms he may have had. His refusal to make amends to the 1987 Constitution such as uplifting 60/40 and imposing a more decentralized government could have allowed better progress. Instead, he chose to stubbornly remain in the same defective system with his appointees who are also his allies. That in turn already started to question how effective is the Liberal Party anyway?

For one, if Noynoy didn't become president then maybe the Liberal Party would have had still had its hold. Instead, his presidency inadvertently undermined their power. Today, their supporters have been greatly reduced that they have to rely on paid trolls and rallyists -- while accusing others of doing so. If anyone should be thanked for #RIPEDSA -- you can thank Noynoy for that!
