Filipinos May Celebrate International Human Rights Day By Literally Throwing Cheato Gascon Into The Trash Bin

As said, having the Commission on Human Rights isn't the problem - it's having someone like Cheato Gascon that's the problem. Since it's International Human Rights Day then it's time to show the Dilawan sympathizers and allies around the world such as Agnes Callamard that Filipinos don't need "human rights advocates" who are actually bullies or use human rights to fill their pockets. One such person is Gascon himself. The Philippines can have CHR all it wants (or merge it with the Public Attorney's Office) but it doesn't need someone like Gascon running it.

How can Filipinos choose to celebrate International Human Rights Day? They could start by throwing Gascon into the trash can - literally! This would be a symbolic act of cleaning up CHR from whatever anomalies are needed. It's good to have human rights advocates but Gascon isn't a human rights advocate. He's just pretending to be one. Instead, he's using human rights to defend the right to impunity (while hypocritically tagging #endimpunity) and as a cover for #TindigPilipinas where the desperate Yellowtards and other anti-Duterte members have joined forces.

This would also mean making CHR a real investigative body. It shouldn't just focus on crimes done by soldiers and policemen but by everyone who's guilty of human rights violations. All types of crime should be investigated. That's why I suggest Filipinos can celebrate today's International Human Rights Day by throwing Gascon into the trash bin.
