Although I can't verify that Antonio Trollanes is willing to become the next Ninoy Aquino but I want to imagine what if Noynoy Aquino gets martyred. He says he wants to continue his father's legacy so be it. He can continue it in jail for his crimes against the Filipino people. Now let's assume that Noynoy should go abroad for some reason. Maybe he's trying to escape from the law or spend time with his siblings, nephews and cousins. He returns and a random terrorist shoots him. He doesn't have to be the target. The terrorist may be targeting somebody else but ends up shooting Noynoy in the process. He falls down from the plane's stairs fully bloody and dead.
For the PNoy it would be a national day of mourning. PNoys would probably make a hero out of Noynoy like they did with the late Ninoy because he got shot. Since when did getting shot make anyone a hero unless they were shot for fighting what's right? Back on track, it would be a day when the Liberal Party in white will finally get Noynoy's body. They may even insist that it should be buried in the Libingan Ng Mga Bayani in the same spot where the body of the late Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr. is buried. You may even have the Dilawans blame President Rodrigo R. Duterte for the death of Noynoy even if he was murdered by a random terrorist. They may not even bother to investigate who the murderer is since it would be more convenient to blame President Duterte.
More Pinoys today are seeing the lies behind the Dilawans because of the Thinking Pinoys. Thinking Pinoys are standing firm to say, "We're Thinking Pinoys, not PNoys. I'm a Pinoy not a PNoy. There's a difference." You can see how the numbers of PNoys are dwindling but they insist that they're still the #SilentMajority. Should Noynoy get shot I think it may end up as a national day of celebration. The reason is because he has a lot to answer for when the Noynoying years caused impunity to skyrocket. Every crime committed such as the Mamasapano Massacre, the Yolanda Scam fund, the Commission of Human Rights rendered ineffective, the DOTC scandals, etc. would have backfired at him with a single bullet.
How will this national day of celebration be? Imagine a scene where PNoys are having a "glorious" march where we have Noynoy's corpse inside a coffin. They will hold a parade and declare him a national hero with pomp and revelry. You may even have more #DuterteResign placards raised up while Noynoy's corpse is paraded through the streets. This may end up with angry people (Duterte supporter or not but not Dilawan) who will end up throwing rotten tomatoes at the PNoy Pride parade. They may even insist they'll enter the Libingan Ng Mga Bayani to give the late Noynoy a hero's burial. You may have Kris Aquino getting overly emotional over her brother's death. But this will be a funeral with so little followers. It may end up with people picketing his funeral especially those whose families died during the Mamasapano conflict.
This national day of celebration may be marked with #EndImpunity. You may end up having the streets full of people celebrating that Noynoy is finally dead. Streets may end up with effigies of Noynoy getting burned. You may have people reenacting Noynoy's death over and over again. It may end up with such revelry and pomp. Maybe, Jim Paredes will try to disrupt the celebrations only to get beaten up for real this time. Paredes himself may become the pinata of this celebration. It would end up with the cause of the Liberal Party to go down the drain instead of exploiting the death of the late Ninoy so many years ago.
