The hypocrisy of the Dilawans' declaring war against fake news is that they are also spreading fake news themselves. Here's a contrast of CNN Philippines vs. CRappler's news report. CNN Philippines says hundreds (which would be true IF they are talking about a nationwide walkout) all the while CRappler says thousands joined in. This is an old trick which was done during the time of the November 5, 2017 rally at EDSA.
What is CRappler trying to pull out this time? After they claim that they are fighting against fake news while they are still spreading fake news. It's really contradictory if you think about it. During the rally for CRappler's freedom -- you can get a sight of Filipino COMMUNIST GROUPS like Anak Bayan, Migrante and Bayan Muna. If they think they can defend democracy by hiring paid Communist rallyists then don't be surprised if they think they can fight fake news by spreading fake news themselves. You can't fight for democracy siding with Communists neither can you fight fake news by being a fake news propagator yourself.
I'm not saying CRappler is completely wrong. What I'm trying to point out is that CRappler uses the truth only when it's convenient. If you're going to run a journalism website then don't withhold facts or twist them. They are using half-truths in the game of confusion by spreading fake news and real news to confuse people. That has led to their ever shrinking credibility causing the very crowds that once supported them to turn against them. And guess what -- President Duterte is still the president!
