Making It Fun in the Philippines

Folks, we've finally all seen the light . The call for constitutional reform is useless! We have finally been enlightened from 2016 to 2022 that the real meaning of "the system" is to simply change the person in charge - not go for a parliamentary system . It's time for constitutional reform to be sacked (and yes, we can trust thought leaders like Jover Laurio of Pinoy Ako Blog in this one) to proceed with the best solution. The best solution that we can have is we well color the Philippines the color of a rose. How do we do that? The League of Filipino Students ahem LAZY FILIPINO STUDENTS (LFS) is now calling for donations for the recent Taal volcano eruption. I remembered one time when the volcano erupted in 2020 before the start of COVID-19's peak . The whole move was politicized by Pignoy Ako Blog . I wouldn't be surprised if Jover Laurio is going to align herself with the members of the Lazy Filipino Students. There's still  the possibility that Pignoy Ako Blog is a communist legal front . Jover's actions such as sending GCash to Renato Reyes Jr. of Bayad Muna and aligning herself with youth leader Sarah Jane Elgago of Kayabangan Partylist might prove that she's indeed in bed with the reds . I'm amazed that pasaway "thought leaders" like Jover Laurio of Pignoy Ako Blog and Gerry Cacanindin are now overbloating both Maria Leonor "Leni Loud" Gerona Robredo and Maria Angelita Ressa's recent selfie a few days ago. I could remember writing about why we shouldn't even bother to recall Ressa's Nobel Peace Prize ONE BIT . I had a good laugh watching Ressa's interview on BBC HARDtalk when Stephen Sackur launched several jabs against her arguments . Now, Ressa's alliance with Leni Loud makes me think that hopefully (and I mean it) that Leni Loud herself will be the next Nobel Peace Prize awardee . Here's another news that skipped me some time ago. It's been reported by Panay News that there are Negros Farmers that demand to stop sugar importation as well as other agricultural products . It was in Bacolod City which is the sugar capital of the Philippines. What's even more stupid is that the groups also asked for SUBSIDY OF PRODUCTION, CHEAP FERTILIZER AND FARM INPUTS, FREE IRRIGATION, SUBSIDIZING MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT, and marketing support. This is really nothing more than ECONOMIC IGNORANCE. It's pretty much like the demand for the prices of palay to have a price increase while the finished product has a lower price . If the cost of production is going to be higher then the finished product will have to sell higher. It's near election time, again, isn't it? Just a few more days and elections are around the corner. May 9 happens to be the date of the elections. However, the trend has always been the same ever since the 1987 Constitution - people LOVE to get fooled. People have been under a wrong definition of democracy (that is, winner takes all politics) which is defined by popularity-based politics. Things seemed to go well after Fidel V. Ramos' administration. However, we've had a lot of problems even after that such as Filipino voters love to vote for inept candidates. People get into the legislative body because they're famous such as how Robert Jaworski and Jinggoy Estrada got into politics for their fame. The MRT rehabilitation is now closing as President Rodrigo R. Duterte's term is coming to an end . I was wondering was the case of the MRT wreck much like Boeing? I decided to watch the documentary Downfall: The Case Against Boeing. The very case may be comparable to the MRT under the watch of Joseph Emilio Abaya este Pabaya.  Remembering Pabaya I decided to get some old news from Rappler in order to troll the Pinklawans. One of them was in regards to Pabaya's reaction on the derailed MRT train . It's not just the Lazy Filipino Students but also Kayabangan Partylist that's been making waves again. The signing of the Public Services Act of 2022 by President Rodrigo R. Duterte has caused quite an outrage in this CPP-NPA legal front. Deny all they want but they've red-tagged themselves. Now, Representative Sarah Jane I. Elgago is re-running as congresswoman for May 2022. This should be an eye-opener because you definitely don't want her in power, right? The big question is do you really still want Kayabangan Partylist in politics? If you're a concerned parent or if you've got children - you really shouldn't allow the likes of Elgago in politics. Why is Kayabangan Partylist, really, so against amending the foreign investment act to invite more foreigners?
