Making It Fun in the Philippines

I decided to get this picture from GRP Pundit  and it should be a constant source of irritation for every decent Filipino. I would have probably taken the law into my hands if I were among the people who saw Maria Isabel Lopez do what she did. I might have already slapped her face really hard for what she did. I may have ended up like that adult who hit Amos Yee in public to teach the latter a lesson if I were there. What she did is inexcusable and it also shows something that seriously needs fixing in Filipino society. This is the problem of Filipino society for some time is  extrajudicial kilig . Movie stars tend to get VIP treatment. For some time, Kris Aquino herself kept getting the spotlight  to the point she became such a brat. What Maria Isabel did is obvious: she broke simple guidelines . There are divider cones there for a reason. Worse, she even bragged that the MMDA apparently thought that she was an ASEAN Delegate. With the #ASEAN2017 going on it would be time to think once more of what if Mar Roxas and Antonio Trillanes were president and vice president. I already made an assumption that Marawi would be gone under these two clowns so what if they were handling #ASEAN2017? How would these two guys handle it if they held the highest position in the land?  I could imagine what stupidity they could organize. First, they could consider repeating the same disastrous and stupid road rerouting plan done by Noynoy Aquino. They may soon advertise it that the evidence that the Philippines is already a developed country is by the heavy traffic which they caused themselves. This may mean delegates will arrive late but I don't think traffic would be the only problem they would cause. If anything could also cause the delegates of ASEAN to be late would be habitual tardiness. I remembered writing on how a failure to understand basic economics can lead to backwards thinking . It should be a shame how economics is not introduced to students until fourth year high school based on the old curriculum. I admit, I once failed economic in the first grading of the graduating year because I was plain lazy and disinterested with the subject. I didn't find it all too interesting until I realized how much applicable that subject is in understanding life. Now it's time to create a plan that would boost economic literacy among the youth as part of CoRRECT Philippines' three point agenda . Nothing could be stranger than the truth isn't it? Sometimes, one's victory could end up as a Pyrrhic victory meaning one's victory becomes one's defeat. The Liberal Party's victory of Noynoy Aquino may have been bittersweet in several levels. I guess Filipinos need to thank Noynoy yet again for another thing he "accomplished" - his presidency brought down Kris Aquino's relevance .
