Congratulations To Beverly Caimen For Performing At #ASEAN2017 Summit Gala

Beverly Caimen is making a name for herself with her talent and hard work. Here's what I read from UkiyaSeed that's making me say I'm proud of her accomplishment:

Filipina J-Pop star BEVERLY recently returned to the Philippines to performed at the ASEAN Summit 2017's gala event yesterday.

She revealed in an interview with CNN Philippines' The Source, that she finds performing in the nerve wracking and an honor as she performed in front of world leaders and ASEAN leaders. She performed two original songs in the event, one in Japanese and in English. These songs are "Ima mo Anata ga..." and her latest single, "Future", respectively.

As for how she was chosen to perform in the event, it was because she met Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte during the time he visited in Japan when she was invited by the Japanese First Lady Akie Abe to perform during the President's Japanese visit. In the same interview, she also talked about how she learned Japanese as she's not a native speaker of the language as well how as she ended up having a career in Japan. Lastly, she hopes to release new songs in the Philippines.

From all of us here, congratulations!

The event itself should be a good reminder of why Modern Japan is an important ally. President Rodrigo Duterte's trip to Japan is now closing in the ties between Philippines and Modern Japan. The past that's Imperial Japan no longer exists. Today, both countries continue to live the memory of burying World War 2. Only idiots who want to continue in the past still think Imperial Japan exists or refuse to move on from the misdeeds of an already dead empire.

Anyway, I'd also like to extend congratulations to her for further bridging both the Philippines and Japan.
