Did A Movie About Mao Zedong Predict The Rise Of Noynoy Aquino?

As I was watching some footage of Mao Zedong's funeral - I couldn't help but laugh. The reason has to be that his funeral reminded me of the Yellowtards crying for Noynoy Aquino. The family decided on a quick cremation as to avoid having a large event. The situation was different when Mao died. Mao may have left a famine but there was no COVID-19 to think about. Noynoy died and there was COVID-19. Would've Noynoy died before the pandemic then there could've been a huge Mao-style burial. Maybe, Noynoy's body would've been preserved in a glass coffin with the Philippine army paying respects. Instead, Noynoy wasn't given a Mao-style burial and was cremated instead.

A film I watched in 2009 was called The Founding of a Republic. Actor Tang Guoqiang became iconic for playing Mao in The Long March (1996), and Zhang Side (2004) before the 2009 film. He resumed the role in Hundred Regiments Offensive (2015), Cairo Declaration (2015), Mao Zedong (1949), and the English biopic I Am Mao. I didn't mind too much about Philippine politics. The regime of Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo was about to come to an end. The film came out sometime after Cory Aquino died of cancer on August 1, 2009. The film was released on September 17, 2009. The film was given this summary:

A man fights against the tyranny of his ruler and leads the people in the battle for a new country.

It was during the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People'e Republic of China. The film tried to paint Mao as a hero. After that, Noynoy became the next "savior type candidate" because of dissatisfaction with the rule of Gloria. It was because of the wrong message about charter change. A lot of misconceptions about the parliamentary system came out. Past messages included saying that it's scary to think if a president ruled for more than six years. Everything came in and the clamor for Noynoy to run for president came in. What DDS and Dilawans need to accept is that Atty. Rodrigo R. Duterte helped Noynoy and Mar Roxas in their campaign. That was during the time when Duterte was mayor of Davao City and Noynoy was still a senator.

Do you see a bit of parallelism? One could compare Chiang Kai Shek to Gloria and Noynoy to Mao. Both Mao and Noynoy have a bald spot, are heavy smokers (which may have caused their ubo-ubo), their mothers died of cancer (though Mao's father died of natural causes), and are said to have led to a new republic. One may compare the Anti-Cybercrime Law of 2012 to Mao's more brutal Hundred Flowers Campaign. One may also compare Mao's loss at the Battle of Yultong (which was his Waterloo) to the SAF-44 incident. Noynoy was hailed as a savior figure because his mother died from cancer. I even remembered Teddy Boy Locsin comment that Noynoy was plain ungrateful. The stupendous funeral of Cory led to the rise of power of Noynoy. Mao's mother died died in 1919 so she died before her son could rise up as a savior figure. Noynoy died at 61 while Mao reached 82.

Did Hu Jintao secretly arrange the rise of Noynoy as the Philippines' president then? (NOT PROVEN BUT JUST A STUPID SPECULATION)

Before spreading this as fact, this is just a crazy conspiracy theory that came to my mind for some time. Isn't the timing a little bit too perfect? A film about Mao's so-called heroism was released a month after Cory died in 2009. I don't think the movie was screened in the Philippines but pirated DVDs were sold anyway. From China.org, I could totally laugh thinking about the meeting of Hu and Noynoy in 2010:

Putting South China Sea disputes aside

Before the disputes are resolved, the countries concerned may put aside the disputes and actively explore forms of common development in the relevant sea areas, Hu told Aquino during their one-hour talks at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

China's stance and proposition on the South China Sea issue has been consistent and explicit, Hu said after a red-carpet welcoming ceremony for Aquino, who is on his first state visit to China since taking office in June 2010.

"The South China Sea disputes should be resolved peacefully through consultation and negotiation between the two countries concerned," said Hu.

China is ready to work with the countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), including the Philippines, to actively implement the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the South China Sea and jointly develop the waters into "a sea of peace, friendship and cooperation," Hu said.

In the declaration, inked by China and ASEAN members in 2002, all concerned parties pledged to maintain self-restraint and not conduct activities that might complicate or escalate disputes over the region.

In July of this year, China and the ASEAN adopted an agreement that established guidelines for implementing the declaration, marking an important step toward a peaceful solution to the disputes.

Aquino, in his turn, reiterated that the Philippines works on maintaining peace and stability in the region and implementing the declaration.

The South China Sea issue does not constitute all Philippines-China relations, Aquino said, adding that the issue should not affect the development of bilateral ties and friendly cooperation in various fields.

"There is a strong political willingness from both sides to minimize the impact of the disputes on overall relations, which is good news for the two states," said Qu Xing, president of the China Institute for International Studies.

Just reading that gives me the thought that maybe Noynoy was indeed a CCP stooge. Maybe, the whole arbitration was just a hoax that Filipinos are made to believe. I feel that the CCP may have secretly contracted some people at the Liberal Party of the Philippines. A lot of supporters of Noynoy were ethnic Chinese from the Philippines. Did the CCP slowly play everything into play? It might have been like, "Have a baldy man? Did the baldy man's mother die of cancer? Are people fed up with the current head of state? Good! Noynoy is our man then!"

The red carpet welcome was given to Noynoy who visited China in 2010. What were these talks during their one-hour talk? I could imagine Noynoy was probably receiving orders from Hu. Maybe, the CCP was responsible for the Smartmagic machines that reached the Philippines. Maybe, the CCP secretly arranged Noynoy's campaigns. Who knows what could've happened? It's such a bizarre coincidence that Noynoy rose into power in 2010 BARELY A YEAR after the movie The Founding of the Republic

Chances are that Noynoy did a good job as a CCP stooge. Maybe not. Until now, nobody knows why was Antonio Trillanes IV heading toward China of all places? How confidential are they? Was the pardon of Trillanes for his involvement in the Oakwood Mutiny plotted by the CCP itself? I guess the arbitration was nothing more than a Trojan horse. Did the CCP give some farewell messages to Noynoy? I can't be certain. I'm still tempted to believe that Hu himself arranged for Noynoy's rise into power.

The funeral that Noynoy never had due to COVID-19

Just watching video footages of Mao's funeral on YouTube can be hilarious. It can remind one of the tears that the Yellowtards shed when Noynoy died. If there was no COVID-19 pandemic then Noynoy's body would've not been cremated like Deng Xiaoping. Chances are that Noynoy would've probably gotten a more proper funeral rite at EDSA. Maybe, Noynoy's body would've been put in a glass coffin as the Dilawans prepared to cry their hearts out. We would have the whole Armed Forces of the Philippines along with others to mourn their great leader.

Just imagine what the Yellowtards may have said if this grand funeral took place. There will be many speeches like, "Oh Chairman Noynoy, how we will remember our happy times." Maybe, the body of Noynoy will be transferred to EDSA for enshrinement. A parade will feature the AFP finally transferring Noynoy's body to what would be known as the Noynoy Aquino Memorial Center. A huge portrait of Noynoy will be hung at EDSA akin to Mao's picture at Tiananmen. There would be live broadcasts of the Yellowtards crying like the Maoists.

The memorial service would've been splendid. Too bad COVID-19 made cremating Noynoy the more practical method to lay him to rest.

Chances are, Filipinos may end up seeing a movie about the late leader as well

I really noticed some Marcos vs. Aquino propaganda films. I'm not watching any films by Atty. Vince Tanada or Daryl Yap. Yap's too obviously a Marcos propagandist. Tanada is most likely a Yellowtard. Does Tanada even understand what Ninoy Aquino was trying to deliver during the Los Angeles speech? Ninoy even blurted it out that the Empire of Marcos wasn't a real parliamentary system. Yet, you still have some idiots who insist that it was - such as JASON VOORHEES in Get Real Philippines. I've stopped reading that site because it's really TRASHY and PESSIMISTIC for most of its run.

What I might imagine is a new movie will be directed by Joel Lamangan. Yes, Lamangan that person who directed that problematic movie called The Flor Contemplacion Story. If Lamangan could come up with a good narrative that tried to prove Flor was innocent - why not come up with a narrative that will make Noynoy look like he's the best president in the Philippines. I recommend calling the movie called Daang Matuwid. The cast members might be Jaime Fabregas as Noynoy (for obvious reasons), Agot Isidro as Maria Ressa, Coconuts Martin as Antonio Trillanes IV, Candy Pangilinan as Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, and Liza Soberano as Risa Hontiveros. It should be a star-studded cast.

I could imagine how this star-studded film would be. Maybe, it will have a big premiere night. Who knows I might watch such a film out of curiosity. It might be an educational experience to watch a movie about Noynoy after all. Maybe, the CCP might even send representatives for the premiere night.
