Failipino Communists Are Against Public Transportation Modernization In Contrast To Chinese Communists And Vietnamese Communists
Raoulol Manuel is a graduate of the University of the Philippines with a CUM LAUDE in Applied Mathematics. However, that guy Raulol has been supporting idiotic policies. I guess grades aren't everything, right? The still ONGOING protests against jeepney phaseout saying stuff like, "PERO KAWAWA NAMAN YUNG MGA JEEPNEY DRIVERS." However, horror stories of Filipino private vehicle drivers vs. jeepneys may be countless. How often have we seen jeepney drivers who are acting like they're the king of the road? I can't count the number of times I lost my cool because of some stupid jeepney driver.
It's very easy to be proud and shout, "PROUD TO BE PINOY!' or "ONLI IN DA PELEPENS!" right? But what if that thing that's onli in da Pelepens isn't something to be proud of? What's the use of shouting PENOY PRAYD if what a fellow Filipino did was shameful? The same can go for those CPP-NPA legal fronts like Kayabangan Partylist (which Raoulol and Sarah Jane Elgago are part of), Alliance of Complaining Teachers, Bayad Muna, Anak ng Bayad, Migraine International, Anakpatis, Gagabriela, Lazy Filipino Students, and the like? True, Joma Sison finally went to Hell (and is rotting alongside the likes of Mao Zedong and Joseph Stalin) but his idiotology is still accepted by some people.
In contrast, things can be looking different for both Communist China and Communist Vietnam. True, both countries are run by Communist parties. You have the Communist Party of China (CCP) and the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV). Both Deng Xiaoping and Nguyen Duy Cong (Do Muoi) modernized their respective Communist states. Both accepted the use of foreign investments in their COMMUNIST states. Both of them have been modernizing their public transportation as you know it.
A good example is how Vietnam has upgraded its BUSES and TRAINS among its nine methods of transporation. Vietnam as a COMMUNIST state is spending more and more money to improve its public transportation. Are there any signs of jeepneys in Vietnam? Instead, Vietnam understood the need to modernize their public transportation. Vietnam is becoming more and more open to FDIs in its quest to promote Sosyalism which I joke means Komunistang Sosyal.
The same goes for China in its quest to promote Socialism with Chinese Characteristics. When Deng Xiaoping said, "Socialism isn't poverty, to be rich is glorious." - that defines SOSYALism. Communist China has also been upgrading its vehicles too. Back then, Deng went around China to see how Mao Zedong's China left it outdated. Unfortunately, the CPV is somehow moving back to Maoism such as the ban on Google and Facebook. Still, we can't deny that Deng invited FDIs over to China, chose to modernize, and China got that far.
Meanwhile, Filipino Communists are still stuck up with their small minds. If they say that jeepneys should never modernize in the name of nationalism then I'm laughing. The irony is that they're promoting economic protectionism with IMPORTED EQUIPMENT. Jeepneys are now becoming more and more obsolete. Transporation modernization is more necessary than ever. If Chinese Communists and Vietnamese Communists can get it... WHY CAN'T FILIPINO COMMUNISTS GET IT?
