What About Feeding Sabungeros With Their Fighting Cocks Turned Into Adobo?

If there's any reason why I'm still critical about 4Ps is that the 4Ps pasaway stories outweigh the 4Ps success stories. Some 4Ps recipients were wise enough to use their 4Ps to finish college or to start a business. What about the rest? The recent incident in Valenzuela (NOT VENEZUELA) had Mayor Rex Gatchalian ordered some confiscated fighting roosters turned into adobo. For me, it's pretty fair enough to have all their paraphernalia confiscated like how some 4Ps recipients wasting their money on non-essentials should be KICKED OUT. Though one has to address 4Ps is really turning areas where it's prevalent into cities where people are probably stealing each others' 4Ps in order to live without working.

Just looking at Gatchalian's photos from the same article made me laugh as I admire the man. The chickens that were caught were turned into adobo for relief operations. However, some netizens do have a valid criticism towards Gatchalian's operations when they said that fighting chickens have tougher meat and therefore need "pressure cooking". I admit that I'm a fan of native chicken but they would taste bad if they weren't pressure-cooked. So if Gatchalian doesn't want them to go to waste then why not use the best chicken for the operations while reserving the game roosters for the offenders?

Some quarantine violators have been arrested for lawful reasons. I think those who were caught cockfighting during the community quarantine are candidates for arrest too. A previous post of mine encouraged a nationwide-enforced punishment where violators will do unpaid community service as punishment. I think those sabungeros (cockfighters) are qualified for that punishment. They will do unpaid community service. The food that will be EXCLUSIVELY served for them will be fighting cock adobo which won't undergo tenderizing. The hardness of the chicken meat will not only hurt their hearts but also remind them of how hardheaded they are in breaking quarantine guidelines.
