How President Roxas And Vice President Trillanes May Respond To The Recent Iranian Crisis

The recent situation of the assassination of Iranian general the late Qassem Soleimanni can be a HUGE BLUNDER for the United States, Now, it's time to imagine how President Roxas and Vice President Trillanes will handle the situation. Knowing how these two are indeed book smart but NOT street smart can be a real problem. President Roxas may have had been a Wharton graduate and Vice President Trillanes may be a master's degree holder from the University of the Philippines (UP) but can you imagine how they'd handle the situation?

The Philippines has had a history of being an American ally or worse - an American overdependent. However, I think the Philippines should be careful in its dealings with the U.S. Granted, the U.S. is really a big bully of a nation and asking it to save the Philippines from China (another bully) is illogical. The two would probably and hastily send in troops. Chances are Gary Alejano (or even Alan Purisima) would have been appointed as the Supreme Commander of the Philippine Army. The poor state of the Philippine military should make you question if the country is even ready to stand an invasion. The only chance the Philippines had against China for Scarborough Shoal was geographic and political. Otherwise, the Philippines would've been a goner if it really went into physical combat with China.

Let's consider the poor state of the Philippine national defense. Can you imagine if both President Roxas and Vice President Trillanes will rally the Philippine Army to go to Iran? The two bozos even haven't taken care of the local problem namely the Mautes and the Abu Sayyaf - now they're planning to deploy to Iran which is a MUCH BIGGER PROBLEM? They would be sending their poorly-trained troops to help the U.S. army battle the Iranian government. They would probably deploy Supreme Commander Alejano who will send the Philippine Army to aid the U.S. Army. After all, aren't the U.S. and Philippines allies? Worse, aren't Filipinos prone to imitating the stupidity of Americans too?

The bigger consequences for the Philippines can be this. The Philippines will be left defenseless to fend for itself. Chances are President Roxas and Vice President Trillanes will deploy too many Filipino soldiers (or even the WHOLE army) without leaving enough to defend the country. They would probably just rely on the victory of the decades-long ago Battle of Yuldong rather than learn from it. Worse, they may end up intervening with negotiations that may end up launching a major world war instead of defeating the enemy.
