Mar Roxas' Plan Top Put Farmers In 4Ps Program Is DISASTROUS

I remembered how I wrote that the 4Ps program in actuality is just like waiting for a shower of gold coins. Now, it's time to consider what Mar Roxas had said that he wants to put farmers in the 4Ps programs. WTF? Here's what he said according to Manila Bulletin:

“Why don’t we make all our farmers automatic members of 4Ps (Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program)? After all, our farmers are poverty-stricken. In this way, some of their financial burdens are eased off while waiting for the rainy season,” said Roxas.

"Seriously Mar? Where has your once brilliant mind gone to now?" would be a good thing to ask him. The idea of putting farmers into the 4Ps is disastrous. Agriculture Secretary Manny Pinol had stated how people are just waiting for their allowances. Pinol's concerns include converting 4Ps into a livelihood program -- not a handout program. It has ruined the agricultural workforce. So much for saying that 4Ps will be good for the economy because of the so-called 5.88 multiplier effect and three times return to the government -- these claims are questionable at best!

The idea of some stupid 4Ps-obsessed old man says that he's sure that recipients of 4Ps are sure to buy rice and kangkong is stupid. It's best to ask that stupid 4Ps-obsessed old man on whether or not he placed drones on the recipients of 4Ps or did he put microchips in the bills to ensure his findings. If he can't present credible evidence then he's just like Jover Laurio of Pignoy Ako Blog. Besides, one can observe at how some beggars receive money from people usually just squander it away. Some of them waste the money they beg on street gambling, cigarettes, liquor and drugs. Give farmers their 4Ps and they are sure to stop working!

Here's also an analogy of lazy beggar's logic. You tell lazy beggars to get them employed and they whine and complain. They would rather focus on Get Rich Quick fast scheme or the easy way out. So they would rather beg all day and do nothing and earn a few pennies than get employed to get a high salary. They would rather do jobs like drug pushing and other illegal stuff because it's easy money. Then we have farmers who would rather stop working and get their handouts for "happy happy time" once they are included in the 4Ps program. It's because 4Ps in actuality ends up giving out money to people even if they don't comply with the conditions to get paid.

This should be a main concern. Why are we still stuck on the 4Ps program when in fact the solution is to open to foreign investment. How can foreign investors help farmers? It's because they will help truly aggregate demand such as the need for more rice, wheat and corn products. So really has Mar even thought about that?
