The Stupidity Of Organizing Costly Rallies While Complaining About Ongoing Inflation

I don't deny that there's really inflation going on. The factors can be beyond just President Duterte borrowing money for badly needed infrastructure projects. Now, another factor is the trade war between the U.S. and China too. On the other hand, we've got activist leaders who are now complaining about the prices of rice and chili (which they exaggerated to now cost up to PHP 1,000.00 per kilo) yet why in the world are they still organizing very costly rallies?

What's the point really of organizing those costly rallies? I can't imagine how much money they spent for rallyists per head, for the materials used (such as effigies of presidents to be burned), deadly weapons that they can use or whatever they have to spend for those very costly rallies. If the prices of goods are now increasing then why don't they START saving money? Every rally is an opportunity cost on their part. Think of how much money they could have saved to spend for their monthly supply of rice and vegetables for starters. They should ask themselves which would cost more between organizing rallies or buying for this month's supply of rice and vegetables?

They fail to see is that what stuff that they are demanding for from the government in their rallies are just impossible to achieve. A good example is their fantasies such as where salaries are increased while the cost of goods are decreased or how they demand for higher salaries while rejecting economic liberalization. Others may also include that they demand the president to lower the prices of gasoline when in reality -- it's all about world market! But for these ignoramuses they want to have their idealistic utopias. In short, how can any president change the natural law of supply and demand? Prices will increase if supply is down and they will decrease when supply is up. Also, why blame TRAIN law for the increase of goods and services? Do they want to go back to the higher income tax bracket like before? Hmm did TRAIN law end up cutting their supply for rallyists too since the income bracket is now lower?

Since there's an inflation and we can't deny it then why not start saving money? Unfortunately for the Yellowtards who are also protesting right now -- Leni Robredo is right when she said that people should learn to look for other means to have money or food. She even urged people to actually try to plant some of their own fruits and vegetables if they could. As much as I don't like her but she's right in saying that. Unfortunately, the Philippines has become a nation where many people would rather receive fish than learn how to fish such as having the 4Ps program. That means it's time to make certain sacrifices such as not having big celebrations when you can't afford them, not buying stuff when you can't afford to pay higher electricity, buying a car when you can't afford gas or to borrow loans only when you need it. In short, learn how to handle money wisely and don't be liek those rally organizers who don't know how to save money -- only to spend it!
