I don't know whether or not it's really something to scream "PENOY PRAYD!" even for the wrongest of reasons huh? Right now, should I be shocked or not. I was wrong to think that teleseryes will never reach the foreign market but it did but not in a good way. Do you want to know where teleseryes are sold? In Sub-Saharan Africa where conditions are considerably worse than the Philippines.

Lemme get this straight to ABiaS-CBN OIC-head for Integrated Acquisitions. There is a highly competitive market around the world. Does she even know why their teleseryes are strong in Africa? A lot of countries in Africa are much worse than the Philippines. Those aren't first world countries. Those are third world countries not first world countries.
The same article from Manila Bulletin mentions Chairman Pang Xinxing of StarTimes which its main headquarters in Beijing. I think Pang himself is probably just taking advantage of ABiaS-CBN and is in for the money. I don't know if he's even sincere in praising teleseryes according to the same source. He calls them "heartwarming" but I wonder how big StarTimes really is in contrast to other Chinese TV networks. Maybe StarTimes isn't doing that well in China so they go to Africa huh? Can't be too sure though but I wish I could verify my speculation right now.
If teleseryes want to show how "great" they are why don't they show real data that they have hit first world countries like Taiwan, Singapore, Japan, South Korea and other neighboring Asian countries doing better than the Philippines? Why hit Sub-Saharan Africa? Sidenote, just expect them to air in North Korea though Emperor Kim Jung Un might chase them away ASAP.
