WTF: Feeling VP Leni Loud Robredo Wants War Ruins In Marawi Preserved As "Historical Lesson"?

The Feeling Vice President Leni Loud Robredo says the dumbest things doesn't she? This is really stupid considering that she's been into politics and I'm no political analyst or that she's a lawyer and I'm not. But here's one thing where sensido komon or common sense is challenged. It's all about her latest wish to have the ruins in city preserved as a "war lesson". All I can say is WTF to do this one.

With her mentality, I guess all ruins from the martial law years under Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr. and the Japanese war era should be preserved. I guess we should also preserve all the ruins done during the Kipadawan Massacre and the Hacienda Luisita as "war lesson". Why I find this stupid is because these ruins all belong to living quarters. Why doesn't she want it fixed? I have a bad feeling she wants to use it as proof that President Duterte is a tyrant. I'm not saying that's what in her head but that's just one possibility. Another possibility is that she wants to use tax money to fix the ruins in Marawi for whatever nonsense plans she has.

Has she realized that Modern Japan didn't preserve the ruins of Imperial Japan or that China didn't preserve the ruins done by Mao Zedong's tyranny and the Imperial Japanese occupation? Turning the city ruins into a museum is just stupid. That area should be rehabilitated as a living quarters. Going by her logic we should also keep cities ruined by Yolanda forever ruined. I guess that's why she sucked as housing czar. She may have wanted to preserve the ruins of Tacloban as a Yolanda memorial museum. Going by her logic all war ruins in the Philippines should have not been fixed. Just think how many Filipinos may be living in areas that were once leveled down by war so many years ago?

Here's an alternative to making a war lesson. Leni Loud should have considered that they can take pictures of the ruins of the city prior to rehabilitation. Then pictures should be taken as the cities are rehabilitated and after rehabilitation. This should be part of the history lesson of seeing the city ruins are fixed in the museum. Instead, she just wants to skip work and her statement is probably another excuse for her mediocre performance.


Hopefully, more broadcasts with Leni Loud will end up with more angry faces like what happened last June 12, 2017. Should she go to Marawi may she be greeted by a hostile crowd who used to live in those ruins.
