The Problem Of Comparing Noynoy's Mamasapano Mission To President Digong's Marawi Mission

Here's a misleading analysis which inadvertently showed how willfully stupid the Yellowtards can get. They are forgetting the differences between the two missions. You don't need to be a genius to understand the problem behind the analysis between Mamasapano vs. Marawi

Comparing the targets

You had Marwan (Zulkilfi Abhir) vs. Isnilon Hapilon. Let us consider the situation of Marwan vs. Hapilon. What the Yellowtards are ignoring is that the whole problem is not just Hapilon but it also includes the Maute (Matae) clan members in Marawi. The Matae terrorists themselves have several connections which made tracking them harder. What made capturing Hapilon harder because he had more allies than Marwan.

Comparing the number of government forces killed

Do the Yellowtards even realize the REAL cause why the SAF-44 soldiers got killed? It was because of the fact that Noynoy had Alan Purisima sent to take charge when the latter was suspended. It also involved a lot of disarray that caused ONE DAY to lose 44 soldiers. On the other hand, President Duterte lost 165 soldiers in five months. Let's assume if the Mamasapano Clash was more severe than it was. Let's assume that the Mamasapano clash lasted for five months. What does it tell you that they lost 44 soldiers all in one day? Isn't that a sign of extreme inefficiency? On the other hand, if you lost 165 soldiers in five months then that would mean you have lost one or two soldiers per day in the conflict. Losing one soldier a day is bad enough. Losing 44 soldiers in one day is really a disaster.

Duration: One day vs. five months

Let's talk about the one day vs. five months. Should it be mentioned that this was an entire Marawi siege with powerful connections? What good would it be to end a conflict in one day at the cost of losing 44 soldiers in just one day? The issue was that Hapilon and the Matae terrorists had more connections than you think. They had to take precautions within those five months because it was a very huge conflict. Would have the Mamasapano clash took its time then there may have been less casualties in just one day. But no, the duration of one day caused at least 44 soldiers their lives because they were disorganized. The others only cared about capturing Marwan without considering the welfare of their other comrades.

Comments

  1. The Mamasapano encounter used US intel to pinpoint the location of Marwan. The BS Aquino admin wanted the whole USD25M reward money all for themselves, hence no contact with the AFP. The Marawi encounter was triggered by the US backed IS terrorists. How can we compare two different scenarios?
