Are You Ready To Perform A Rider Kick With Beverly Caimen This September 3, 2017?

I would like to congratulate this talented Pinay singer Beverly Caimen for being the first Filipino to sing a Tokusatsu theme song in Japanese. Though I guess everyone knows that I still wish it were Gerphil Flores who sang that song. So what are my thoughts on Miss Caimen singing the Kamen Rider Build theme song? Should Miss Caiman's role in Kamen Rider Build as its lead singer be praised? Yes it should be praised. But the only Filipinos who have the right to celebrate with her are those who don't belong to the smart-shaming crowd

I think it should be the phenomenon where talented Filipinos tend to succeed outside their country rather than in their country. I wonder if the same is happening to Miss Caimen? Maybe yes, maybe no. But here's an observation I've made. Talented Filipinos tend to be discriminated a lot in their own country. They go abroad and they succeed outside the Philippines. After they get acknowledged then here comes the same people who shamed them who now want to be friends with them. They want to free ride on the same successful Filipino who they shamed.

I could say I'm happy for Miss Caimen but this shouldn't be a source of the nonsense Pinoy Pride stupidity. She succeeded not because she's a Filipino but because she knows how to put her talent into good work. Knowing where where she's good at plus her hard work is what made her accomplish this milestone. She succeeded as an artist because of her dedication and hard work. It's not about being (insert race) but it's all about hard work and knowing where you're good at. After all, you can see successes and failures in every race.

Filipinos who watch Tokusatsu have the right to be happy that Miss Caimen is now bringing them closer to the shows they love. They have the right to be happy. There's still the right to celebrate this win as long as one doesn't become a sore winner. Anyway are you ready to Rider Kick with Miss Caimen?
