Richard "Lucifer" Hoydurian Watches K-Dramas Thinking ABiaS-CBN Stars Are Starring In K-Dramas?

The Asia Artist Awards 2023 was held in the Philippines. I didn't want to write anything until I realized My Demon is currently Top 2 in Netflix Philippines. Sure, Yu Yu Hakusho is nostalgic among Filipinos. However, K-Dramas have been pretty strong in the Asian market thanks to strong market fundamentals. I just hope that Japan will stop being too exclusive and let more of its shows out.

Last time, I remembered writing about Lucifer thinking that ABiaS-CBN entertainment is a match for foreign shows. Right now, there are some Pinoy Netflix originals going on and they can be good. However, I'm going to think about it if he's talking about ABiaS-CBN shows with the DEFAULT teleserye formula - he's got to be deluded! I end up thinking that he's having some kind of delusion from within.

I think Lucifer watches K-Drama thinking that he's seeing ABiaS-CBN celebrities instead of the actual celebrities. Right now, I imagine that Lucifer is watching My Demon thinking that he's seeing Alex Gonzaga instead of Kim Yoo Jung. Maybe, he's probably writing a statement where he says Alex's acting mixes well into the show. The question is since when did Alex learn to speak Korean?

I even wonder if Lucifer saw Vincenzo and thought he saw Angel Locsin with Song Joong Ki. I wouldn't be surprised if he wrote a review saying Angel showed Koreans she can kick ass. Sure, Jeon Yeon Bin LOOKS LIKE Angel but the differences are there. I like to highlight Yeo Bin's lack of sex appeal and fairer skin quality. Those features should already tell us YEO BIN IS NOT ANGEL. The question can also be since when did Angel learn to speak Korean? Both Yeo Bin and Angel do a lot of action scenes. Again, the physical differences aren't too subtle. Even Yeo Bin's face will tell you she's too white to be Angel.

The list can really just go on and on. Good thing that Director Song Kang Ho of Parasite didn't mistake Shaina Magdayao for Jin A Nana. It would be funny if Lucifer was watching Memorials on Netflix (which sadly didn't renew its rights to broadcast the show) and thought he was seeing Shaina. I doubt Shaina can speak Korean or do those stunts that Nana does. Fortunately, Ang Probinsyano didn't try to insert scenes from Kill It and pass off those scenes for Roxanne. Maybe, he was also watching Glitch thinking that Angel and Shaina were starring in a supernatural drama.

Just another funny thought for now!
