For The Love Of Teleserye-Style Theatrics To Excuse Yourself From Fulfilling Your Obligations This COVID-19

I remembered the Get Real Philippines article "Filipinos are too emotional for their own good". Last March, I also wrote an article where I mentioned that many Filipinos may have NO ONE to blame but themselves. Then you've got follow-ups and outrage of leftist-minded Filipinos who post one rant after the other where they choose to blame the government and would even politicize the issue. The Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) hit so landlords have every reason not to ask for rent. However, ECQ was moved to GCQ because economic activity is already needed to PAY OFF COVID-19 related debts. That means under GCQ businesses are now allowed to operate first under skeletal capacity since August 2020. It also meant that tenants who refuse to pay rent after some time can be KICKED OUT already. Landlords today can now execute their right or better yet their UTMOST DUTY to kick out tenants who are leeching them dry. Businesses are starting to re-open so why aren't these tenants paying up? They already had their QUARANTINE DISCOUNTS so why haven't they paid up yet even slowly?

Why am I saying that some Filipinos may have NO ONE but THEMSELVES to blame as to why their own FELLOW Filipino will have the right and/or duty to kick them out? Consider the typical culture of Filipinos that spell a bad name for every single decent Filipino. Since Christmas is nearing then consider the culture of overspending. Consider how some Filipinos end up spending their money on Christmas and New Year. Why is it that some Filipinos end up with the nonsense of last-minute Jingle All the Way type of shopping? It's because many of them DON'T. HAVE. MONEY. Why don't they have money? Consider the typical Filipino way of spending money. All year round they just spend money like it rains gold coins. Last 2018, some people were complaining about the alleged inflation (even lying that one kilo of chili is now PHP 1,000.00) yet they were all lining up for a BRAND NEW i-Phone XS. COVID-19 also proved another thing that the members of Kadamay are HUGE OVERSPENDERS who know NOTHING about economics. People of Kadamay were complaining that their government cash grants were too low. It was discovered many of them were using their cash grants for useless activities such as GAMBLING. Then the next move for some is to keep blaming the current administration which is just stupid. I mean, why rely on the government for everything? Their poor budgeting habits become the reason why some people may lose their privilege to rent. Rental is a privilege and not a right. They have the right to earn money but they don't have the privilege to stay in that space for rent if they can't pay rent.

What's the next best move when they're threatened with eviction? Resolve to teleserye-style theatrics! Cry like teleserye characters! They will put up a show with tears and give their LONG RANGE of excuses. They will say this and that and cite problems that THEY THEMSELVES CAUSED or that they should take care of themselves. Examples of these are when they refuse to follow COVID-19 guidelines and GOT THEMSELVES INFECTED. Another is when they refuse to follow safety rules that led to an accident. Others are when they start to give money to fiends and relathieves instead of teaching them to be financially responsible. They give such a clap-worthy I mean CRINGE-WORTHY performance hoping their lessors will give them more time. However, it's problem that they themselves caused. Did they think that they could stay in that space forever without paying and not get charged with ILLEGAL OCCUPANCY? That's why I refer to such people as UTAK SQUATTER TENANTS. It's because like squatters - they think that they're entitled to be rent-free because they're poor people or that they don't respect the rights of the owner. Tell them to move out and they might even dare to threaten the safety of the owner all before teleserye-style theatrics kick in. Then when legalities come in then comes in the teleserye-style threatics.

It's really time to get serious. COVID-19 has really shown that the 1987 Constitution is not the best in the world. Why do you think it's a norm in the Philippines to fall into teleserye-style theatrics to excuse themselves from falling from obligation? It's the lack of jobs where being unemployed is supposedly more fun in the Philippines. That's why I advocate for opening up the economy to foreign investments so more Filipinos will be employed.
