The Pinklawan Variant Can Be Defeated With The Vaccine Called Constitutional Reform

Picture modified for laughs only, okay?
Right now, I feel like writing a new eye-opening satire which I call the Pinklawan Virus. Back then, I wrote a satirical article about the vaccine-immune COVID-19 mutated strains. Later on, I decided to write about the other SYMBOLIC COVID-19 variants such as the Oakwood Variant and the Dilawan Variant. That's why I call these COVID-19 "variants" vaccine-immune variants. True, COVID-19 vaccines will help fight the actual variants. However, the symbolic variants can't be defeated by literal vaccines but only a symbolic vaccine called CONSTITUTIONAL REFORM. The variant is so contagious as it can easily spread through social media, no amount of handwashing will kill it, and even fully vaccinated people can get it. The Pinklawan Variant is now a newer, stronger version of Leni-COVID-19 - a mental COVID-19 that's more of a battle for the mind than the respiratory system.

It would be amusing that a literal new variant is actually colored yellow with pink spikes. Nope, this variant didn't come from the body of Vice President Leni Loud Robredo or any of the Dilawans. Though, it's still weird that the new variant is both colored PINK AND YELLOW. Doesn't that make one think of Leni Loud's use of the color PINK when the previous color of the Liberal Party of the Philippines is YELLOW? It seems like the new COVID-19 variant is a warning NOT to vote for the Pinklawans one way or another. Then again, what caused the Pinklawans to rise up in the first place?

Blame it all more on the presidential system more than the rise of the Pinklawans. The Leni-COVID-19 only mutated into the Pinklawan Variant because of the PRESIDENTIAL SYSTEM. The Pinklawans are just a symptom. The rise of the Pinklawan Variant is a result of the popularity-driven, showbiz politics of the presidential system. Is it really a democracy when people decide to have a tyranny of the majority of the rule of popularity? Unfortunately, both Dutertards and Yellowtards are guilty of that. How often has it that Yellowtards and Dutertards bully each other or others who don't agree with them? A diehard Duterte follower can show the amount of indecency Jim Paredes showed during EDSA. Pinklawan thought leaders like Jover Laurio and Gerry Cacanindin show they can just be as indecent as the Dutertards they badmouth. Neither side is decent actually. It's because the presidential system encourages such dysfunctional behavior by introducing popularity-driven politics. If popularity is the game then you'd do ANYTHING to be popular, right?

The parliamentary system together with economic reforms can counter the Pinklawan Variant. It's because the Parliamentary System will force the Liberal Party (as well as EVERY OTHER PARTY) to change their behavior. Systems shape behavior, get it? Some say that the parliamentary system won't work in the Philippines because of the lack of accountability. However, it's not being in the parliamentary system that has led to the problem of a lack of accountability. Why do you think Filipino politicians lack accountability? It's because there's no real formal opposition to hold the government accountable. Have a weekly questioning every week, make it mandatory for both sides to debate, and let's see things will change. Just think what if Prime Minister Rodrigo Roa Duterte and Opposition Leader Richard Gordon will have a real head-on debate. Another possible format is if Duterte and Leni Loud were actually on two opposite sides of the spectrum - Duterte as the prime minister and Leni Loud as the opposition leader with Francis "Kikoman" Pangilinan as her deputy. It would force Duterte as a prime minister to show how he intends to run the country while the opposition will be forced to give useful alternatives in the scrutiny process. That would mean the Liberal Party will be driven to real solutions instead of theatrics. That means Leni Loud and her fellow opposition will truly get serious because they will have their role to scrutinize the government with REAL SOLUTIONS.

The Liberal Party does have its chance to rise up again. However, they blew up their chances to do so. #OtsoDiretso could've won Halalan 2019 if they focused on solutions over theatrics. For example, they went to Marawi to see the progress, gone forward, given their solutions, and discuss how to rehabilitate Marawi when they scrutinized the government. Instead, the focus was on making Duterte fulfill a hyperbole when the late Noynoy Aquino had his own hyperbole to fulfill. They did the opposite by focusing on theatrics overs solutions. The result was that NOT ONE of them won. If they focused on solutions and badly needed reforms - I wouldn't mind them winning again. I think Bum Aquino has the potential to be a good opposition leader. Unfortunately, the whole presidential system is a real brain drain that led to the Liberal Party birthing many symbolic vaccine-immune COVID-19 variants. The members of the same party tend to act like COVID-19 patients in the ICU who are living in denial of the pandemic.

This isn't a call to abolish the Liberal Party. It's a fact that the late Carlos Celdran was a Liberal Party supporter while he called for reforms. The Liberal Party should heed Celdran's advocacy for constitutional reform instead. Celdran and Orion Perez Dumdum had different candidates. TBH, it's a waste really that pasaway "thought leaders" like Jover and Gerry wasted their energy ranting idiocy instead of supporting constitutional reform. You don't need to be a Duterte supporter or Yellow supporter to be a supporter of the shift from presidential to parliamentary. Jover could've used her blog and her paid boosts to tell people about the need for constitutional reform. Instead, Jover just uses her boosts for her idiotic posts that hardly make sense. Gerry could've used his energy to support the reforms. Instead, Gerry just laughs constitutional reform and the CoRRECT Movement off and tends to post what could be commie-minded posts instead. Unlike Celdran, the pasaway "thought leaders" are just toxic people with no solutions. Instead, it's a call for the Liberal Party to really stop their theatric-based platforms to focus on constitutional reform.

Just think if the Liberal Party actually started to change its ways. Noynoy did pass certain important economic reforms that allowed more industries to be opened up to a greater degree. However, it was a mistake for Noynoy not to include the utilities so people can enjoy lower-priced services such as electricity, water, and telecommunications. If only the Liberal Party would be focused on being a real working opposition - an opposition with solutions instead of just having theatrics. An opposition is needed and a parliamentary system has a real working opposition. The presidential system is nothing more than a mockery of a circus. That's why the Liberal Party ended up getting stuck doing theatrics. The parliamentary system would've discouraged them from doing so. Now, only if they will just open their minds that the parliamentary system can benefit them too!
