Is The Philippines Really Ready For A Possible Leni-COVID-19 Pandemic?

The news of vaccination programs going on in the Philippines is good. However, there's still the concern that COVID-19 is developing vaccine-immune strains found only in the Philippines. Three vaccne-immune strains were discovered last 2020 and the mutation continues this 2021. The three mutated strains were known as Trillanes-COVID-19, Leni-COVID-19, and Trillanes-COVID-19. Later, Trillanes-COVID-19 mutated into the vaccine-immuine Oakwood Variant which is confirmed to spread 1000x faster than the UK/Indian variants. These variants continue to mutate every now and then. Unfortunately, another vaccine-immune strain is about to mutate. We do have the Dilawan Variant which is more worrisome than the Delta Variant and should be contained at all costs.

The mutation rate of these vaccine-immune strains is indeed worrisome. 2020 was last year and how many new variants have evaded vaccines? Now, the Trllanes-COVID-19 variant seems to have been outdone by the Leni-COVID-19 variant. Coloring the virus pink DOESN'T defeat the virus as it simply downplays the threat. The evidence of the threat downplayed has to do with the activities in relation to campaigning of Vice President Leni Loud Robredo to be the future president of 2022. It doesn't require a genius to think that the virus could mutate faster at a very rapid rate.

Just think about the Joy Ride for Leni Loud in Bicol for a start. It's still a pandemic and the population is still being vaccinated. I'm amazed at how pasaway "thought leaders" like Jover Laurio of Pignoy Ako Blog and Gerry Cacanindin are totally encouraging the rallies. Are we going to keep rallying because of an alleged study that Black Lives Matter didn't allegedly lead in a rise of COVID-19 cases? Yet, some of those who said that it didn't still worry that it could encourage such events. It's common sense that COVID-19 requires SOCIAL DISTANCING to help slow down the virus. Yet, these guys keep doing mass gatherings then they COMPLAIN that the virus keeps rising up. The June 12 gathering in the University of the Philippines-Diliman Campus (UP-Diliman) was just a good example of the "pekeng disente" behavior of the Yellowtards.

Leni Loud now dares to even talk about ending the pandemic when she can't even discourage the motorcode in her honor. Supporters of Leni Loud are now calling her "the leader they need" when she refuses to acknowledge that pasaways too play a role in the increase in cases and not just government lapses. I'm not saying that any mistakes done by the Department of Health (DOH) should be dismissed. I think any transactions should be directly scrutinized and discussed between the government and the opposition. However, one must wonder if Leni Loud's plans will just be more limited to ayuda (cash assistance) and free food. One must wonder how is Leni Loud's vaccine express going on or if it's really not in violation. I'm not saying that the vaccine express and the shuttle services should be shut down for the sake of shutting them down. I'm saying that they need to present weekly reports of how they're performing. If they are violating provisions then maybe it's time to shut them down for violations.

The celebrity endorsements for Leni Loud can't even be used to endorse she's the leader we need. The pasaway "thought leaders" need to present their platforms - not silly endorsements. Besides, it would be good to ask the question on whether or not ABiaS-CBN celebrities helped curb COVID-19. The celebrities' attitude is that obnoxious one way or another. The so-called "disente" image has been exposing itself. Can we really trust that Leni Loud is the leader for the future based on endorsements by PASAWAY celebrities themselves?

Would you really want Leni Loud to be president? If so, you might as well be ready for another COVID-19 outbreak that NO VACCINE can defeat. This is why the fight for constitutional reform is ON. We need to change the defective 1987 Constitution's mistakes into better ones. Go from presidential to Singaporean-style parliamentary. Get rid of all the negative list to encourage more foreign direct investments such as the utilities sector to provide better, more affordable services. The fight to defeat the ever-mutating variant is one and only constitutional reform can defeat it.
