It's really a shame how Filipinos can be so stupid not to see this fact that Neri Colmenares himself is a political genius. This would be a wake-up call that many Filipinos were so stupid not to vote for him last 2016. Now it's 2019 please don't make the mistake of not voting for this guy!
So where should I start? I could start with how stupid people can get to tell Filipinos that the Philippines needs to have economic liberalization. Who in the world are you kidding? You should listen to this guy with what he has to say. The moment you allow foreign businesses to enter the Philippines is the very day you doom the cottage industries. They would have ruined the local Filipino businesses and foreign investors will invade our country and get rid of our sovereignty! You want to know how first world countries got rich? They didn't progress through accepting foreign investments but through economic protectionism. Heneral Luna said it that first world countries became progressive through protecting their small businesses and launched the national industrialization program -- please study your history to see that he's indeed a true political genius!
You want proof from history? Well you can start looking at the history of China under Mao Zedong and under Deng Xiaoping. Mao Zedong brought China bankrupt by opening the door to foreign investors leading to plenty of Chinese jobless and enslaved by foreigners. It was only when Deng Xiaoping started state protectionism that Chinese businesses became world class. The same can be said about North Korea and South Korea. Koryolink couldn't kick out worldwide because North Korea is open to foreign investors. South Korea's Samsung kicked in because it came from a protectionist country. Also Venezuela is suffering right now because it allows foreign investors to do business there in contrast to its neighboring countries like Chile!
Do you know what federalism means? Federalism will give rise to warlords! Yes, go and get a Merriam-Webster's dictionary and see what it means. Do you want to know an example of how federalism will give anyone centralized power? Just listen to Neri Colmenares! He has seen how federalism will grant more power to anyone in power. You can see how countries like Malaysia are under the rule of a dictator. Japan was once a federal country during the Tokugawa era. Europeans used federalism during the Middle Ages! Do your research!
Yes we can blame TRAIN Law for all our country's woes. How? Ask Neri! He's a genius and he will tell you that it caused the increase of prices of commodities. He even has a recent study that proves that decreasing the tax rates, by making those who earn PHP 250,000.00 no tax at all that it will cause the prices of commodities to increase. Forget about supply and demand that you learned from high school and college economics -- he's way smarter than all the best Filipino economics graduates combined! We should return to the old tax law where everyone was subjected to the 32% maximum ceiling price (where all income above PHP 500,000 is subjected to PHP 132,000 + 32% of excess to PHP 500,000) would be the best economic measure in contrast to TRAIN law.
