The Stupidity Of #LetLeniLead The IATF-EID When She's Not An Epidemiologist

President Rodrigo R. Duterte made the RIGHT DECISION to fire Manuelito Luna from the PACC for harassing Vice President Leni Loud Robredo's Angat Buhay project. Personally, I have nothing against the Angat Buhay project if it serves as a competition against the government because the government alone CANNOT deal with relief. Now, Antonio F. Trillanes IV is really once again showing how he as a member of the Opposition is once again falling really hard. The IATF-EID means Inter-Agency Taskforce on Emerging Infectious Disease. Why tag Leni Loud to even lead it when she's NOT an epidemiologist like Taiwan's Vice President Chen Chien-Jen?

Okay, we can understand if #LetLeniLead were tagged and Leni Loud herself was an epidemiologist then go ahead. Just because Angat Buhay has been said to have delivered badly needed relief doesn't mean Leni Loud is qualified to lead the IATF-EID. She doesn't have much of the expertise to handle epidemics. Distributing relief goods to hospitals or to people in need is not the same as handling IATF-EID. It's not as if Leni Loud suddenly discovered the cure for COVID-19. If she did then she would be qualified. However, it was just a joke meant to boost the immune system. I could care less if Leni Loud would quote Chen from Taiwan in giving advice during a council meeting. However, letting her lead the IATF-EID is a totally different issue. She could suggest an epidemiologist she knows and that's not a problem.

The IATF-EID is a Department of Health issue. If anything, Duterte and Leni Loud should work with IATF-EID and NOT head it. Neither Duterte nor Leni Loud has the qualification of an epidemiologist. Both are to take advice from IATF-EID. Maybe Duterte can appoint somebody qualified to give him and Leni Loud the advice they need to control the COVID-19 epidemic. Leni Loud can and should still continue in relief operations with Angat Buhay. Leni Loud can help lead in relief operations and let her continue to do so as long as she remains capable. This proves Trillanes may have the intelligence but he certainly lacks common sense.
