ABiaS-CBN Reporter's Dirty Finger Shows Their Fake Decency

Here's a scenario where two wrongs never make a right, right? I'm amazed that, until now, people don't have a complete view of why the Marcos Years weren't the golden years. Here's a viral video where a reporter in ABiaS-CBN got "napikon" or "irritated" in English. Okay, I'm not condoning what the Bobong Marcos supporters are doing here. However, the ABiaS-CBN reporter showed the true colors of the network - FAKE DECENCY or PEKENG DISENTE to the public. Yup, fake decency is shown once more by a network that supposedly is the "paragon of virtue" of the Filipino. The best thing that the reporter could've done was to LEAVE.

This reminds me of how Jim Paredes tried to appear to look decent when he isn't. Okay, if the DDS Youth did intrude their area then he has the right to get mad. However, Jim showed himself to be a BULLY with how he responded to the DDS Youth. There were other ways to resolve it if they were intruding in his area. Jim could've simply asked them to leave instead of taunting them. I'm amazed at how the Yellowtards condemn the crudeness of the Dutertards camp but it's okay for them to do it? Both Yellowtards and Dutertards have their indecencies. However, the Dutertards are rather straightforward while the Yellowtards try to appear to be decent people. It seems to make the Dutertards look less guilty even if I don't condone their behavior either. President Rodrigo R. Duterte's crude mannerisms aren't still appropriate if you ask me. Then again, that doesn't make Jim a decent person either.

What was also interesting was the lack of delicadeza by another ABIaS-CBN vehicle last 2020. I was amazed at how it was caught on camera that an ABiaS-CBN vehicle REFUSED to give way to an emergency vehicle. They were acting "all concerned" during the typhoon but what about that vehicle? I wonder if ABiaS-CBN issued a public apology and dismissed the people involved in that incident? For one, I doubt it. I guess all that lack of delicadeza in the past was probably the reason why the late Noynoy Aquino chastised ABiaS-CBN on the 25th anniversary of TV Patrol. I still laugh at Rigoberto Tiglao's expose. I wonder did Noynoy change his mind about the franchise or was he trying to cover his tracks during Duterte's term? I guess ABiaS-CBN later giving tribute to Noynoy was in hopes that someone from the Liberal Party will give them another franchise. I guess that's why they're so against constitutional reform - they won't have their prestige in an oligopolistic network, huh?

Besides, a lot of people fighting for the franchise weren't decent people either. COMMUNIST front groups like Bayad Muna, Kayabangan Partylist, Gagabriela, and Anakbayad were the ones fighting for the franchise. The celebrities also showed themselves to be loving the network more than their country by their actions. Incidents such as Angel Locsin Colmenares-Arce's rallies and the like makes me want to ask what did they ever to do help in the fight against COVID-19? Tell me how is that even decency to start with?

Right now, I could say that ABiaS-CBN will continue to lose its relevance. It should've changed its ways long ago. It should've supported constitutional reform which could've benefited it. Instead, we still have their massive failure of the mind. If the Philippines had more Internet Service Providers (ISPs) then ABiaS-CBN may no longer even need a franchise. If there was no 100% Pinoy media-only law then ABiaS-CBN could've been on air and Gabby Lopez's citizenship will be irrelevant as long as he presents his papers right. Instead, ABiaS-CBN is showing itself to be what it is - in the disservice of the Filipino people.
